Gazdele au fost foarte prietenoase și dornice sa ofere toate condițiile pentru ca sejurul meu sa fie unul de vis. Camera era foarte mare și spațioasă cu o chicineta dotată cu câteva ustensile necesare. Se făcea curat o data la 2 zile, inclusiv cu schimbat așternuturi și prosoape. Vederea către răsăritul din mare a făcut ca sejurul sa fie unic. Liniștea de dimineață completează perfect decorul medieval care te transpune într-o altă perioadă de timp. Unitatea de cazare este amplasată foarte aproape de intrarea în castel și este foarte ușor de accesat vs alte unități de cazare.

We felt like we were staying with family. Hosts Theofanni and Christos were very helpful and informative and their passion for the preservation of the Montemvasia history and heritage was wonderful. Downstairs is a library and art gallery which was very interesting and added to the uniqueness of the property. Breakfast was served on outdoor balcony. (Extra charge supplied by nearby cafe) was substantial with the best homemade spanakopita, Greek yoghurt and honey and omelette. The hotel is very stylishly decorated. Adults only policy makes for a serene stay. Very good communication from hosts about how to get there and heads up about the rocky undulating nature of the walkways plus many steps. You wouldn’t want to be dragging heavy luggage from car into castle compound and to hotel so it was good they informed us at time of booking.

Monamvasia was the highlight of our Greece trip, so was the hotel we stayed in! Don´t think twice to stay overnight, it´s so worth it. The hotel is fantastic, albeit a bit far at "the end" of town. Follow the advice of the people and TRAVEL LIGHT. That means, one handbag/backpack, no heavy suitcases. We didnt listen and brought our heavy suitcases, so we were struggling to reach the hotel through the old pebblestone streets. When we arrived, the receptionist was super friendly and helped us with our oversized luggage to bring it into the room. The views are amazing, the shower is very high standard. The breakfast we had is fantastic with everything you can dream of. All types of food, fresh juice, fresh coffee... and all with a view in a remote and peaceful part of town with views to die for. Would always come back. Thank you!

Amazing location on the beach. Extremely clean rooms. Nikos was very helpful in everything. He and Androns actually saved us when our rented car broke up: They arranged with the rental company taxis that took us to the airport.
