How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty

- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Nothing to dislike .
The best thing about Akyra is the staff , the guy that directs you to park your car and the front desk staff to the folks that work at the restaurant and room service - all are top notch professionals , helpful and gracious . The room , we stayed in the manor suite … amazing and super comfortable. The food at breakfast was some of the best we have experienced in years , very impressive made to order breakfasts . We ordered room service 3 times as well , italics has amazing food . The crab soup was especially memorable as was the pork chop … we order a bunch of stuff each time but these were standouts .

The Fitness Center is a bit small but ok
We liked our booked deluxe room very very much. The Bath was really nice the bed absolutely comfortable. We enjoyed our stay enormously. We will be back soon

Everything was good but if there can be an additional bin (don't need to walk to bathroom room to throw rubbish) and more a little brighter in room will be preferred. A bit dim for reading.

Clean, modern amenities. Staff were excellent and nothing was a problem. Our air con didn’t work one night so they moved us straight away into another room without fuss. Breakfasts were good, bed was comfortable. Shops, coffee, restaurants etc easily walkable

Pool size is very small and gym room is too small
I think if you can provide a supportive pillow better. Our pillow is too soft. Everything is good. Breakfast is good. Message shop and restaurant both are close to the hotel. Nice design hotel.

My mother stayed for 16 days. She loved everything. The staff really took care of her. Anything she asked for was done immediately. Very impressed by this. She says brekkie could have had more fruit. But had no real complaints.

The area round the pool is almost non existent so if you are here to top up your tan look elsewhere
It is a beautiful hotel in a really great area for bars and nightclubs. Had one of the suites which was high quality Staff very very helpful

I did get food poisoning from eggs benedict at the hotel breakfast. Everything else was great, but that was not fun.

Not too sure about the glass fronted swimming pool.
The staff were very friendly and went out of their way to be helpful, nothing was too much trouble. The beds were comfortable and I especially liked the pillow sprays to help you sleep. The rooms at the front of the hotel were quiet despite being on the road side.

Maybe it would be better to have some hooks for towels to hang. 😊
I like that u could choose a pillow! They have a pillow catalogue which was awesome. I chosed the one that's good for cervical,and they misted it with rose scent! Also they actually saw that it was my birthday and gave me a delicious cake! Thank you staff of Akyra Manor, you were so kind! The pool is also amazingly pretty and I am sure attracts many instafluencers!
