How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

Pool and facilities where good! Problems with the AC for about a week and payed for a Delux room and wasn't given one even when asked at reception was told we have the room that was available. It was my 4th time staying here and it was the most I've payed and the smallest room I received

The air con in the rooms is not great and the nearby bars and construction works mean it is noisy at night. You are only given one pool towel for your whole stay and have to pay to receive a fresh one.
Central location, walking distance to the beach, restaurants, shops and bars. The rooftop pool is nice. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Breakfast was average.

Some lacks in the provision of some itens in the firts day, like toilet paper. But must have been a forgetfulness.
The location is great, near restaurant, taxi, bus, ... Large room, confortable.

It was all ok.
Nice staff. The airco didn’t really cool the room but it was also ok that way when I went. Breakfast was basic but very complete. Location was good.

We didnt have access to the pool on the terrace because it wasnt the summer season. The staff on the reception was a bit rude when we were asking for informations.
Nice hôtel with good breakfast. Good location.

I would like to thank the friendly staff, we asked for changed the room. They agreed and exchanged our room for a better one. The hotel was full, but they fulfilled our request anyway. Another plus is the location, because there are nearby streets with clubs and cafes for young people who want a good night out.

the steam room was out of action during our stay and the sauna only went on after 5 apparently which we didn’t know about
its in an ideal spot for going out to bars and restaurants. Easy enough to walk to places

The room is not like in the photos(from booking). There is no water pressure to the shower, and it also leaks a lot when you shower. The TV was too small and the room was neighbour with the next room, and devided by a door. No intimacy!

The room’s air con wasn’t particularly strong which was a bit uncomfortable at times.
We very much enjoyed the pool facilities, most hotels in the area don’t have this. The room was acceptably clean, daily cleaning was satisfactory and the staff were very kind in that they would come back multiple times after being asked to do so. We were happy with the free use of the safe. Lastly, the breakfast was tasty and good value for money

-There is a road work right outside the hotel, the drilling noise is extremely loud, the windows did not have good sound instillation, so we did not get a good sleep. -The bathrooms need renovation, they were so old, not very comfortable to use.

But at night there are many places where young people go out and after midnight they are skriming and its noisy

Construction Mondays-Saturday from 7am not the hotels fault, air con in our room was nothing compared to our room next door.

Checking in took ages because there was only one staff member able to check guests in. We witnessed a staff member be extremely rude to another guests. To the point where she was shouting at the guest, the guest remained calm so there was no reason for this… extremely unprofessional.

Staff weren't very friendly, especially on reception. The woman that greeted us on our arrival was very unfriendly and unhelpful. We arrived late and it was dark so didn't know where to go for dinner. She wasn't interested and gave us no information3about anything.
Our apartment was lovely, bed was comfortable and it was a quiet location. I liked that it was cleaned regularly

at night it was impossible to fall asleep because there are bars under the hotel and people there were noisy until 2-3am. I don't know how to sleep in the summer with an open balcony. Also, the door closes very loudly, so if your neighbors enter the room several times at night, be sure you will hear it. also there were only 2 liquid soaps in the bathroom so don't expect any shampoos or shower gels
the hotel is located in a good location. near the hotel there is a sea 2-3 minutes away, shops, various cafes and restaurants, a bus stop 5-7 minutes from the hotel from where you can go to other cities. the hotel room has a beautiful view of the sea. there is also a small swimming pool on the roof of the hotel. Breakfasts were almost the same, but the food was delicious So in general, the impressions are good

It would have been nice to have access to bathrobe for the swimming pool and in bedrooms but outside of this everything was good!
The breakfast was very good! The view from the rooftop was nice, I also enjoyed the indoor pool and the gym!
