Wifi never worked. Check in was a bit tricky as there was some confusion about room allocation and the couple who were there spoke absolutely no English which I was not expecting! The building next door and a large piece of waste land adjoining it was being used by squatters who both days I was there held political protest meetings beneath my window that were attended by quite a lot of people.

Lovely sea view and excellent location for getting to the port area, shops and restaurants. Sophia was very friendly and always available on Whatsapp to help and advise. Room was fine for a short stay if you like quirky.

Could be cleaner. Beds and sheets need cleaning/changing they had some stains. But it's cheap so you get what you pay for really. Worked out 7 euro per day each for 3 people for 2 Nights. All in all for the price you pay it's definitely recommended

Really good location , had hot water all day friendly owner that gave us some tips also on restaurants. Beds were alright and parking was found easily, not sure how it would be in high season though. Price to value ratio i think it's excellent.

Not good communication from the owner. No one was there to meet us and one of the other people staying there had to let us in. I didn't get the room that I booked .

Sophia, the owner, was very friendly and informative. The accommodation is in the old town and easy to find. There is a view from the balcony over the harbour.

We were 2, so it was okay, but the room was for another 2 and that way I'd be too crammed. We were on a ground floor, so it was weird taking a shower while people outside were watching you through the window. Also the walls and ceiling are thin, so there can be noise.

The hotel is well located, outside is a nice view of the port. Surprisingly it's also in a really quiet neighborhood, which is nice. It was a good value for a one night sleepover while traveling through Chania.

There is a meeting place of artists next to the house. They have played music until 2am. In the morning we were woken up by the church bells.

We stayed for one night and we loved the location and Sophia's kindness. The rooms have a soul. We felt very welcome!

The place has a lot of potential but it needs a bit more cleaning and caring for details in my opinion. Probably a shower curtain and a full sized mirror would be nice additions.

Quiet except one night a party across the street, which is out of control of the owner. Helped closing the windows & shutters and using the A/C .

Rooms wasnt cleaned up once in almost a week, including the thrash can in the barhroom where you drop the Toilette papers.

There was no actual shower stall, only a hand-held nozzle in a corner of the bathroom with no walls or curtain.

Room outdated (as expected from pictures). Toilet door had no handle on the inside. Bunk bed was so wobbly I didn't let my kid sleep in it, thankfully there where enough beds for us even without it.

Location perfect, aircondition worked well. Check-in was handled well even though we arrived in the middle of the night.

The mattresses are uncomfortable, the stairs are very steep and the windows need a good clean.

A cool, old-fashioned room at the top of an ancient venetian palace with two balconies overlooking the harbour and sea. Rooms 47 is in a quiet residential area in the old town with a lot of character but only 5 minutes from the bustling restaurants on the harbour.

I think possibly the owner is charging too little for the rooms and consequently is struggling to provide the best service For me this is a great place to stay for a couple of nights and it is in a good location just away from hustle and bustle but close to cafes etc

Sofia is very kind and helpful. The hotel has parking place. The locations is more than perfect! For the price is a very good deal! From our room there was a beautiful view to the lighthouse.

Bed was not comfortable

Location was excellent. Sophie was wonderful and very easy to communicate with. Rooms were cute - very different as this is a very old building and not extremely updated but full of character.

I emailed owner 2 days before with my arrival time but I had to wait 55 minutes before she arrived and this was after 2 phone calls and a further email.
