The owner Mike was incredibly kind and helpful - greeted me at the door and answered any questions I had about the property and Heraklion. Really good location with everything in Heraklion within walking distance - I was able to visit lots of places and tavernas from Mike’s advice. The private rooms are comfortable with very good air-conditioning and a fridge. The veranda gives a very nice view and is nice to sit and look out at the sea in the afternoons. You will also get access to a private gym with enough equipment for a decent workout!

Host Goran was very kind and the room was nice and clean. The location is perfect as you have many restaurants nearby. The city center is also very close so you can explore the city on foot.

Nothing to complain.

Easy to reach, nice balcony, close to bus stop and restaurants. Comfortable bed. :D The owner was friendly and accommodating and runs a gym on the ground floor. If you are into fitness and weight lifting, this is definitely the best place to stay in Heraklion. But it is also suited to academics and the like, as it is close to a large conference centre.

The apartments where on the top floor with no elevator. Due to the warm weather that could be a challenge but the view on the top floor and the good working airconditioning made up for that!

Mainly I liked the view from last floor and that there were no suprises. I knew what to expect before arriving there. Do not expect a 4 stars hotel kind of experience. It is a small clean room with the bathroom on the hallway. The manager is indeed very helpful as saw in previous comments

Bathroom lock was a little tricky

Self check in was great as we arrived after 2am! Very easy to find and comfortable room with air-conditioning. As others have mentioned the toilet/washroom is located over the stairs but was not scary. Shower is not isolated from the rest of the bathroom amenities but was not an issue for us. Sadly we only stayed the one night but wish we could have stayed more! The host was very kind and friendly upon our check out :) would recommend!!

Our room was on the top floor, there is no elevator and I did not expect so many stairs (is a bit difficult with a heavy luggage), but overall this is a good choice :)

Perfect location for a good price, near to city center, airport bus. The room was clean, with a very good air-co, and the host vas very helpful.

The room was quite small with a very small window. The position of the rooms with respect to their numbering is strange, we had to go up and down the long stairs several times before figuring it out. Every time it was fun to go to the toilet, as it was suspended above the stairs!

Excellent position, you can be reach the centre walking in a few minutes, there are all the services in the area (bus, supermarket...). The host was nice. The common veranda is nice and useful and offers a view of the city. In the corridor there are some common comforts (electric kettle, some tea or coffee sachets) and in every room there is a fridge, TV, air conditioning. Each room has a private bathroom, even if detached from the room.

The bedroom and bathroom are seperate, so you have to go into the common area to get between. Personally, I didn’t like the toilet seat as it was not made of hard plastic so felt a little bit unhygienic. There also wasn’t any kitchen facilities i.e. cutlery, plates etc (other than a kettle).

This accomodation is in a fairly accessible location and there is a great view from the shared balcony. Also, although you can’t drink the tap water here, there is a water cooler with water that is safe to drink.

The communication with the owner was great. He has very accommodating, let me store my backpack before check-in and after check-out. He gave me tips on where to go and inquired whether I'd need anything else.

Clean room close to the city centre were you can find a lot of restaurants. Good bed, and although it is close to the airport I didn’t hear much noise. The room had a fridge and you can make your own coffee, tea and free water there!
