Giorgos and María made us feel home during our stay. Homemade food in the taberna and very clean and confortable rooms with the best views of Agua Roumeli. Definetly we will come back.

Wifi could be a bit stronger, but it did the job

This hotel is a bit further out than the other properties. That means it’s much quieter and you have a beautiful view of the cliffs and the sea, and at night, the stars are crystal clear. The actual room furnishings are mostly the basics, but the owners’ kindness makes up for it. As a solo female traveler, I really felt safe and enjoyed my stay.

We didn't realize the remote for the A/C was in a drawer, so we spent a couple hours sweating. Luckily we figured it out! Also, thin walls meant we could hear a noisy guest nearby

It was a nice refuge after a long hike in Samaria gorge. We loved the beautiful water views from the balcony, and enjoyed cooling down with the A/C. The owners were extremely welcoming and it was a great value!

As I said, the room is a bit old but the sea view is totally worth it.

The hotel is in a great position, a few steps from the town, stores and harbour, and a few steps on the other side to a wonderful and relaxing walk which takes you to the entrance to Samaria Gorge. It is really quiet and it includes a nice restaurant where you can eat with a sea view. Our room had a private balcony with a wonderful view of the bay through an archway. I think it is the best room in the hotel and I'm so glad I booked it more than six months in advance. The room inside is small and a bit old but it is so cheap and it has such a beautiful sea view that you can't ask for more. The owners are so kind and patient and they also take care of the town cats who stay in a garden in front of the building. They are really wonderful people and we felt like at home with family. If you want to walk in the Samaria Gorge or even just take a break from the stress of work and the city you must absolutely come here.

The location was great, very close to the exit of the Samaria Gorge. The highlight was the food offered. I've recommended it already to friends even if they're not staying there. Very friendly people.

Bathroom is quite old fashioned, could be renovated, however it’s not a huge disadvantage. Off season - mind ferries to Agia Roumeli timetable ;)

Absolutely love the stay. The place is very quiet, perfect for a rest after a long hike. It’s super close to Samaria Gorge and other interesting trails. Has a tavern downstairs where Georgios serves amazing local food. Georgios and Maria are amazing hosts, very warm, very helpful and crying. Room itself clean, cosy and with a very nice sea-view. Room has basic equipment (kettle, fridge, air-condition, additional blankets and pillows) , but it’s all what we needed. Very very good value for reasonable money. Definitely a place to come back !

We were delighted with our stay at Paradise. Maria and Georgios are warm, kind and very lovely hosts. The breakfast on the terrace in the morning with delicious local honey was a true pleasure. Our room was very clean with a balcony and beautiful sea-view. The facilities are simple but have everything we would have wished for - including a kettle and fridge and good air conditioning. We were very pleasantly surprised at the excellent quality of accommodation for a very reasonable price. Thank you so much Maria and Georgios! We had a very happy time staying with you in charming Agios Roumeli :-)

No hot water, too cold to shower and no heating. No working light in the bathroom (pitch black), very noisy late at night. Owner is nice. Room itself is clean though very minimally equipped.

There was no kettle in the room, as advertised on Booking.com so had to purchase drinks in their dining room (which somewhat added to the cost of the stay). The whole building looks in need of repair - the rooms are not just dated, the building work is poorly finished. There were electricity power cuts in the evening and overnight.

Lovely, welcoming hosts. Room itself was basic, and dated, as expected for the price paid. Quiet, as most guests seemed to be solo walkers. Large dining room serving food all day.
