Brilliant location with a beautiful view

The kitchen was very limited and no microwave and very little glassware and cutlery. Decor was wood panel and a little dark.

The location was perfect - across the road from the main Chania beach and a short walk to the Old Town. Plenty of restaurants closeby. Room was a fair size with a reasonable size balcony. Linen was changed regularly.

The basic rooms are pretty small and it would have been nice to have at least a bedside table were to put some stuff. They should improve water system. In the shower, hot water goes and comes and water pressure was too bad in certain times of the day. For the rest, the room was ok

Small room, bathroom door can't be closed. It's generally really clean (cleaning lady comes every day), but it needs renovation, everything is quite old. It could be better eqipped.

There is no lift and while this us expected in an older facility it could be tricky with big bags.

The staff were very helpful and friendly and the location at the cost was very good value for money.

The room was wood panelled with a small toilet/shower room, old fashioned and with a little work, could be amazing. It had a little kitchenette with handy fridge and mini oven with grill, which we used for making toast. There was a random selection of plates, cups, glasses and cutlery but everything we needed (although a new bottle opener/cork screw would be good - we had to ask a local restaurant to open our wine, which they kindly did!) One of the pillows was very lumpy - I’m sure if we’d asked it would have been changed but we managed - would be a simple change that would make a more comfortable stay. A big of of updating would be good, the location is so good, but you get what you pay for.

The location is brilliant, just a few steps away from the beach and 15 minute walk to the beautiful Venetian harbour and old town. We were staying in room 5 which was on the top floor. No lift, but worth the steps - the room was quiet, dated, but very clean and quiet. It has a balcony with amazing panoramic view across the beach and sea where you can watch the sunset. The staff are super friendly and helpful. When we arrived the woman at the desk helped carry our case up the stairs - she was lovely and chatty and stopped to say hello every time she saw us. The cleaner does an amazing job, swept and mopped the floor every day (not easy with sand being brought in) bins emptied daily and fresh towels and beds made/changed through the week.

The room was very small and a bit "tired" with a few broken things ( e.g. toilet seat lid, handle of the balcony door). But after I told about it everything was fixed the same day. There is no table in the room (only on the balcony). It was a bit cold in the room (I travelled in April) and AC didn't work on heat (cold did't try). AC seems very old. The bed is located just behind the door leading to the stairs and you can hear very loud if there are other people walking by. In the shower water goes all around the floor because the darain made incorrect way.

The location is perfect, Just 2 steps away from the beach, 10 minutes away from the old town and 15min from the bus station. Very friendly and helpfull staff will make you feel cared for. They will help you with everything you need and you can also book some excurtions if you choose not to drive yourself. I think you can rent a car as well, but I didn't. Clean towels every day. The price is very good, affordable for regular people.

Shower drainage was not great so had to wait a bit for each of us to have a shower.

Great location; just next to the beach and easy walk to Chania town. Two-floor supermarket and lots of restaurants nearby. At request reception helped organise some tours (tip: several musea etc have special rated for EU travellers but you need to show passports (we learned the hard way)). We had a small balcony to have our meals on. Great view over sea and sunset.

Climb up 2 flights of stairs (am disabled) not good (we were on 2nd floor). Room dated and a bit tatty, could do with a refresh. Kitchen facilities were poor; just one very small mini oven/2 ring electric cooker. BUT considering what we paid for it and we ate out most of the time can't complain. Only table was on the balcony with fabulous views and sunsets, it would be churlish to moan too much.(we faced west looking over beach to sea and distant coastline.

Location: superb. Room fair, but dated. Facilities, fair- balcony good air conditioning wonderful, bed really comfortable, value for money, very good. Beach- wonderful, less than 10 (ten) metres from a very good beach. Many wonderful restaurants(mainly fresh fish) very close. Around 20 in total. Quite easy walk into central Chania. Staff including cleaner couldn't fault. Very helpful and friendly.

The door for balcony could have been more obaque not to allow very much light to enter during the sleeping time or maybe add curtains. Also the soup containers are very deteriorated.

The location is perfect. The staff is great and friendly. The room is very clean.

Unfortunately the bed was opposite the door so that we could hear people walking on the staircase who woke us up twice. There also was no door to the bathroom which was very surprising, imagine sleeping and someone is using the bathroom behind you in the morning.. toilet seat was broken and there was no shower handle so we had no choice but to hold shower head while showering. Also the shower was on the floor so after washing water would flood half of the bathroom because the drains wouldn't keep up with it. We didn't expect luxury for this price however this was too much..

Great location, 15min walk to the city centre. Its right at the beach where you can find plenty of restaurants, bars, shops. Comfortable bed and working AC, little balcony with table and chairs. Staff at the reception and cleaners were friendly and polite.

You walk out directly on the beach, doesn't get any better. The room comfort is not that important when you consider the beach and the boardwalk so close.

Small bathroom.

As described, the hotel is just in front of the beach and they are many restaurants close by. But keep in mind that if you take an economy room, you won’t have the sea view. No lift and there are 4 floors! Clean. Small bathroom. Small balcony giving on a quiet yard. Lady at the reception is friendly.
