The hotel was a few minutes walk from old town and the port. The staff were welcoming, helpful and very kind. The breakfast had many varieties and was tasty. The room was big, clean and had a balcony with the view of the Venetian port. We were able to watch the sunset at night. The staff recommended places to eat and places to visit and they helped to arrange excursions with the pick up at the front of the hotel. They also arranged wake up calls and had breakfast box prepared for the early excursions.

The only inconvenience was the lack of beach towels. They had pool towels but we couldn’t take them to the beach so we had to buy one in a shop. I understand the reasoning behind this, but if they just made guests pay for a deposit for their towels, it’d be quite helpful for those who want to visit the beach.

The hotel is lovely and our room was fantastic. We were at the 5th floor and enjoyed a great view of Chania and the sea. The room was always cleaned to a great standard, we had a varied breakfast every day and the staff at reception was also very welcoming. i’d definitely stay there again!

The bathroom light is automatic which was annoying at times and they only had a steamer no iron. They also tried charging me extra tax on departure which I had to decline as I didn't see this as fair, which then they let me not pay. These are minor points of improvement, I'd still rate it 10/10!

We got a sea view room. I recommend asking for room 405 or 305 with the clear glass balcony. Fantastic views, amazing spacious room with large TV and brilliant shower. Breakfast had great variety and the bar menu was brilliant, especially the chicken or apple salad. You can order room service by a tablet which was very easy! Food prices very affordable. Staff were super friendly and we always found space by the pool! Location fantastic with a small beach just outside and harbour a scenic 10 minute walk down the beach. Make sure you walk the city wall, such beautiful views!

Accessing their parking was difficult due to road works, but that certainly wasn't the hotel's fault.

Security flaw: The room door does not have a peep hole, unable to determine who is actually knocking at your door. Recommend investing in irons and ironing boards, if not for every room, at least a few at the front desk that can be issued to guests who desire to use. The steam wand was difficult to use, and it leaked out water.

The check-in process was smooth, and the room was just as the pictures indicated, clean and modern. The waterfall shower was amazing. Great variety of breakfast items with a local flare. I really enjoyed it. Excellent value for the price. Would consider staying again if visiting Chania.

It would have been great if there was a full length mirror and a dental kit provided.

I loved the greek hospitality and the intent to know about the background of the tourists. They not only tell you about the places to visit but also the tourist traps which are aplenty on Google. The service is impeccable where they make you feel at home.

Great interest of the staff to recommend sightseeing, taverns etc - we send special thanks to Katerina! The localisation is perfect - just a nice walk to get to the Old Town and Harbour. The room was very clean and comfortable, well organised (closets, hairdryer, even a small ironing thing). We were welcomed with a drink on a house, there was also a small bottle of wine and some soda in our fridge. The beds were super comfy. The view from the terrace was beautiful. The breakfast was tasty and varied, each day there was something new to try. The hotel has a parking lot which is a huge advantage if you rent a car.
