First of all: the communication, helpfulness and friendliness is a 10/10. I felt most welcome and my host did everything and beyond to make me feel comfortable and welcome and help me in any way. The location right at the beach is exceptional. I enjoyed it very much. You have a mini market and several tavernas/ beach clubs in walking distance (just mind you have to walk uphill a little bit). The room fitted my needs. I had a fridge and a coffee machine. There was a modern hair dryer. WiFi was available. For the cooler nights there was an extra blanket. The AC was modern but I did not need it. The view from the balcony was lovely. I could look right at the sea. There was a little dryer to hang my wet clothes. The room had a bed, a closet, a mirror table and a fridge plus a free corner next to the closet to store my suitcase (so it is out of the way). The room was not modern but in good condition. And this was totally ok. The coffee machine and the fridge could have been a bit cleaner. But overall, especially with the exceptional location in mind the price for the accommodation was really more than fair. Plus the super lovely host. A big thank you to my host for everything.

Electricity tripped every day in both rooms. WiFi sometimes doesn't work. Last night no water in 1 room but we couldn't let anyone know as also no WiFi. We had 2 rooms so not a big issue. Fridge in room 3 was really mouldy and needs replacing.

The hotel is conveniently located less than a minute away from the beach. Room is small but cozy. Air conditioning works perfectly. I recommend to try thr gyros at the taverna downstairs. It was delicious!

The equipment of the room was not enough. WiFi is not working in the Room (but works at the beach). The bed was not very comfortable.

Owners Restaurant were very good and tasty. Best gyros pita on Crete. The beach is close to the Room. Very nice pool with sea view next to the Apartment.

Needed to call to figure where to checkin....pickup room key at the taverna by the beach....if you're handicapped it won't work because there are stairs and all rooms on 2nd level.

Location beachside and comfortable amenities in room....pet friendly.....free beach lounger if you stay at hotel (bring your own towels)....all in all pleasant stay for quality/price........nice taverna next door Taverna Gilisma... would go back

Bathroom-Because there is no bathtub, the water flows freely throughout the bathroom and the toilet all the way to the bedroom door. After each shower, you have a lot of work to wipe everything off.....with one small towel.

Room wasn't matching the pictures so well, but it was clean so it wasn't a big problem. Towels should be changed more often.

Stuff was good, always available, whatever you need - they will help you. Room was clean with clean sheets and towels. Beach was just in front of the property, less than a minute walk, you can always go back to your apartment from the beach if you forget to bring something with you. Free sunbeds included!

The room was smaller and darker than we expected, especially the bathroom, your legs had to be in the shower area if you sat down on the toilet. We could have a peek into another room, which looked better, it had also had seaview, not like ours. We had to ask for spoons (for coffee). Also there were a couple things that were done in a negligent way (socket outlet hanging from the TV, no outlet to plug in the coffee maker, no place to put your luggage)

The apartment is right off the beach. The free sunbeds were a nice treat. The host (whom we didn't meet, only spoke to on booking) was really nice and helpful.

Beach was just at the footstep almost. Very convenient. The place is quiet. Room was big enough, beds are comfortable. Few tavernas are nearby, so very convenient if you want just to stay relaxed and do not go far.

I would have really liked if there was a small kitchen in the room. there is a fridge and coffee machine that was very good

There was a common feeling of not taking care of the rooms very ambitiously nor not really caring very much. The shower reck was broken, dim curtain sometimes worked, sometimes not, coffee machine couldn’t be used as it had no filters, the old, dirty looking fan with a suspicious looking string hanging from it was still on the ceiling although there was a (well functioning) aircondition system on the wall.. And the toilet/shower room was very umcomfy and small. Also the fact that most of the staff doesn’t speak nor unferstand English is rather challenging. As I arrived to the hotel in the evening, all the doors were closed, the whole hotel was unlit and there were no instructions how to contact the hotel staff. There apparently is no reception in the hotel. Luckily my taxi driver helped me and started calling around. Eventually he got someone to open the front door of the hotel and the door of my room - but nothing was prepared for me in the room. Had to wait until the water got heated in order to get a shower. That only lady, who speaks some English was only available next morning around midday. All in all it just felt like they didn’t really care..

The location right by the beach is wonderful - but I think that the staff of the hotel is counting on that to overlap all the things that don’t function in the hotel.

The bed was not very convenient for 2 people with different weight, it takes some getting used to. But that was very minor issue, the overall stay was perfect!

The apartments were great! We enjoyed the stay a lot! We are happy that we stayed at this apartment, we will definitely come here again! The room service was also great, so we are absolutely happy! Thanks a lot!!! ☺️☺️☺️
