Its a somewhat remote place at the end of a typically rough Cretan road.

Excellent people, both staff and other guests, good food, interesting place,not as basic as the description implies.

This property is more than simply a farm stay. Our hosts were so warm, welcoming and passionate about show casing the traditional Cretan way of life. The property was superb and had everything we could have wanted. The location in a secluded mountain valley with a working farm was superb.

It’s called Farm House Experience for a reason. I spent 3 nights here and enjoyed a gorgeous breakfast each day (definitely request this!) The calm of night, the sky full of stars, the ringing of sheep bells in the distance, the chirping of insects, the energy of the farm (yes, sometimes you can smell the animals) and the glow of candles - it’s hard to explain how peaceful this place feels. Is it different to be without electricity and to shower kinda sorta outside (it is enclosed), sure… that’s the point. Lovely location, there are towns with cute restaurants and historical sites nearby. It is also not too far from some wineries and with a little driving, many beaches! The road to the farmhouse is mostly gravel and of course you’re in the mountains, so a few spots made me nervous! It’s my first time driving in Crete, so I may not be a good judge.

No words to describe this stay! It's a pity that we chose Kamihis Farm for only one night. The house is situated a few kms from Zaros, in a rural area. It's surrounded only by nature. There is no traffic, no noise, just trees, animals, wind.... Lack of current is the main advantage, I would say. It turns the stay into a real experience! You don't have distractions such as TV, computer, etc. Even such a simple thing as taking a bath or shower is unique :) The hosts are very friendly and helpful, always ready to answer in case of any questions regarding the house itself or the whole area. Breakfast is prepared by the host family and it is really delicious, 100% Cretan. It is worth every euro and we will definitely come back, if the circumstances permit. Ευχαριστούμε πάρα πολύ!

I don't know how can i describe this experience. We were in Crete for 8 nights and the day we stayed in the farm was the best by far. When we arriving the young lady who was cleaning our room welcome us...she was so friendly and made us feel from the first minutes like home. Our room and all areas in the farm were extremely clean. The room was just amazing. We had a bottle of wine in the room, ouzo, coffee, tea... The farm doesn't have electricity as this is the philosophy of it. We had candles and we haf to boil water to have shower (which makes it even more special the experience). Mihalhs informed us that most of the things in the farm are from his grandparents, this makes you respect even more that place. The breakfast was delicious. The last day Mihalhs made us a small tour in the farm and we met the animals, he explain us how the respect the animals and in the enviroment in the farm. And for the end i wanted to let you know that even if it's not your style this kind of accommodation you should give it a go just to meet Mihalis. My vocabulary is not rich enough to describe what a lovely person he is. ❤️

The solitude , silence of the farm is very rejuvenating. The host , beautiful couple mikhalis and vallya are very down to earth, kind and excellent welcoming. I really had great time in farmhouse, felt re energetic. Farmhouse is overlooked to this beautiful Mountain and a fantastic outdoor bath brings it more closer to nature. Breakfast served in the farm house and varieties of Greek food to choose. Food was incredibly tasty. 👌. All the best.

Everything was more than perfect. We received an email before we arrived with an explanation of the farmhouse and where we should be to get the keys. We were greeted in Zaros and accompanied to the Farmhouse, where we met our host and were showed around. Every part of the Farmhouse and its surroundings holds its own surprise! So much attention to detail! You can have breakfast either in the Hotel in Zaros or have it delivered to the Farmhouse. Our stay was amazing, especially our nightly stargazing from a private hot tub in the garden. This place is a real hidden gem, highly recommended! Book more than one night! PS. Yes, there is one electricity socket in the room to charge your mobile phone...
