It's like nearly all hotels, no soundproof rooms. But maybe it's just for me it's very important. And no strong rules about quite period on night time.

Great personal, yard for parking, also kettle for water and coffee.

The location is a bit far from the city center.

The hosts (Elena and Athina) were super nice and helpful. Thank you for your kind service! The neighborhood is full of great restaurants, supermarkets and beaches.

The wifi didn't work for me.

I liked the location due to uncrowded beach area and so close to a very good local taverna. Land ladies are very sweet and helpful. Very nice breakfast

There's nothing to dislike.

Great location, just a couple of Kilometers from Rethymno town, just 200m from the beach, and 200m from the Express way which offers easy access to Chania and Heraklion. The room was very large with big double bed (2 singles pushed together), settee, air con, tv, bedside lights, fridge and basic food prep things like knives, forks, cups, plates and kettle. The bathroom was also very large with shower, sink, toilet and large mirror. Plenty of hot water too! Hosts, Athina and Helena were perfect! Welcoming, friendly, helpful, and informative. If you want a quiet place to stay but still have access to tavernas, restaurants, supermarkets, beach etc then Athina is the place to stay! Highly recommended!

Great stay, we regret that we had to shorten it because our flight was rescheduled. The hosts were really kind, we enjoyed talking with them! We expected less, but got more for a really good price. The beach was near-by, the city was beautiful, the terrace was amazing, we could prepare and eat our breakfasts there. All facilities mentioned in the Booking were available. We recommend to have a car there, because the city center is quite far away.

The hosts are kindly and ready to assist you with all your needs and answer all your questions, the rooms were clean, and they were changing our sheets and cleaning our rooms on a daily base. The rooms are bright and big enough. The food they are preparing is also very tasteful. You are away from the closest beach and supermarket only 5 minutes walking. Baja beach is also 10 minutes walk and the promenade on the beach is 10 minutes which is the path you can choose to go to the Old Town or to take a public bus which is 1 euro ticket cost in one way. Thank you, Elena and all your family for the beautiful days and experience. Across the street from the Athina, is the best Taverna in the Rethymno town called Zisis Taverna and it is important to be known.

The bed is not so "soft" so you have to get used to that.

Perfect stay! Just one hour from Herakleion airport, a really nice place to spend your holidays. Nearby the old city of Rethymno, beach, bakeries and many supermarkets. Really good place to spend your stay in Crete.

Wish we could stay longer

Everything was super nice. Lovely room, private balcony, sliding screen doors, table and chairs inside as well as outside, lovely bed, pillows and blankets, nice kitchenette, coffee setup and refrigerator. Also air conditioning, mosquito plugs, modern bathroom and the nicest hosts that make you feel part of the family. Super recommend 5 Stars for exceptional value and good energy!

The location was not what we thought. Far from the old city and the more popular beach. The closest beach was 100m along a busy road then 200m or I think even more on a gravel road to the beach. I was hoping Athina was on the beach. Far from where all the umbrellas and beds are on the beach. Had to walk far up with the beach to reach umbrellas and beds. I eventually rented a car where the hosts where very helpful. She organised a car in 10minutes delivered to Athina. That was great.

The price was good. Room was fine and everything working well. The hosts was excellent and very friendly. Very helpful. There was a fish restaurant up the road that was great.

The staff was very unpolite, they entered in our rooms without knoking. Staying there was stressful. Very bad welcome
