Wonderful. In front of our room was a private, small swimming pool. The owner was looking for me in the town when I lost the address. Everything was excellent.

I know in many hotels they use glass doors in bathroom.This may be nice looking but it's not practical.At nighttime all the light goes straight to your sleeping friend and privacy not at it best.

Location is 5' walk from old port.The room was super clean.Staff very friendly!

Nothing It was perfect

Host was very friendly and very helpful, guiding us to local attractions and suggesting restaurants as well. He is multi lingual. Location is perfect. 2 blocks from harbor with many, many restaurants. Just steps from Coffee and breakfast food. The apartment is very clean and is cleaned daily by a very pleasant lady. The bed is exceptionally comfortable. Kettle, coffee machine, refrigerator and slippers provided. Neighborhood is safe and you are secured behind an iron gate entry as well. I would definitely return. Crete is beautiful. Locals are friendly. I have nothing negative to say. Perfect!

Everything was perfect.

A great location within easy walking distance to all the main attractions. The room was spotlessly clean, very comfortable and had everything we needed. Car parking a few metres away was very handy as everywhere else looked very difficult to park.

This place is so beautiful and clean. Michele is a nice person, He sent me a message a few days before to arrange the check in, he also advised me where to go to take the COVID test. This property has a great location, only 5 min walking you can find the port and many different restaurants. I can’t be more happy to spend a couple days there.

Everything was literally amazing. The room is very comfortable and full equipped (it even has a Nespresso coffee machine!). The bed was big and cosy, the bulding is new and clean. Also, you’re in the heart of Chania! Last but not least, Michele is a super host, friendly and ready to help! Thank you Michele for your precious suggestions!! Me and my boyfriend have a lovely stay and I am pretty sure there are no places like Antica Canea in the whole island. Totally recommended!! Sabrina&Ivan

The only flaw was that the toilet-bathroom didn’t have a door and no bath towel, only 1 hand towel for the 2 of us as a couple.

Awesome hotel in a great location. The owner is extremely friendly. It almost feels like you’re visiting family here. Everything is in walking distance. There are great restaurants, bars and coffee shops just a few meters away, and it’s still quiet. The rooms are very nice, and clean. The AC works well and the small pool is cooled, so is perfect for refreshing when it’s hot outside. One day I randomly walked around the area and there was an amazing local market just a few 100m from the hotel, selling great olives, cheese and lots of other stuff. 10/10, would come here again

Parking near the room is a real challenge! There was not parking in the lot near the apartment, but there was parking within walking distance

Very comfortable bed. The hosts were so warm and hospitable.Very lovely location close to the Venetian Harbor, shopping and many restaurants. We got blocked in on a market day as we parked where we shouldn’t have and our hosts allowed us to leave our luggage after checkout time in a secure area😊

We have to dump our luggage in the car as the staircase is very narrow and our room is on the 3rd floor. Bathroom is very small and cramp. After shower the floor is completely wet. No free parking. Cost 8 euro per nite.

Proximity to the old town. Walking distance to the lighthouse and pier. Plenty of restaurants nearby.

I would have liked to have know about the entrance not being accessible of a main street but instead in a back alley where niether a taxi nor a tour bus could pick us up or drop us off.

THE GOOD: The hosts were accessible and very very kind. The room was walkable to restaurants, bars, the marina, it was clean and quiet, the ac was cold, wifi was good, the water was hot. THE BAD: It should be disclosed that a taxi can not drop you off or pick you up at the property entrance so you will have to walk to find the entry (with your luggage) through a dark graffitied back alley near what look like abandoned buildings. Once you get in the gated entrance you feel safe but it can be intimidating especially to a foreign person who does not speak the language and is carrying luggage, especially at night. Also the bathroom shower is uncomfortably small to shower in even for a women of 5 feet 2 inches tall. This is not the owners fault but it should be disclosed because it is all about expectations.
