Alexiou was very welcoming and friendly, he gave us a fresh orange juice and a small cake. The appartment is close to the city center and also to the beach. It has a balcony, it's quiet. Very good.

great location, very close to the beach, less than 5 minutes on foot, as well as to the center about 10 minutes, to the store 1 minute. great owners very helpful. the room and facility were very clean and the kitchen was well-equipped.

Nico and everyone else were so friendly, a real Cretean welcome. From snacks on arrival, complementary food and beverages and even the odd gift. You are made to feel very welcome. There’s also an honesty bar and a drinking water cooler available. Everything worked in my studio apartment and it was spotless. Parking is available. The beach and the old town are a short walk away once you get your bearings. A well stocked supermarket is next door too.

Good value for money in a central place of Rethymnon. A pretty quiet area, almost next door to a big super market, close to the beach and walking distance from the old town. A very friendly and helpful owner.

The wifi wasn't great, but actually not a problem for a getaway holiday!

The hosts, Nikos and Sofia, and their children were incredibly welcoming and hospitable. I couldn't have asked for more! Thank you so much for everything, I won't forget you!

Everything was good, the only aspect what could be improved was the internet connection as it was only in certain parts of my room/studio available and in others not.

Sofia and Nikos are amazing hosts: very friendly, very helpful and very kind. :-) The room/studio was very clean and the kitchen was with everything equipped what you need. There is a big balcony and mosquito nets. Just outside the door is a big supermarket, also a bakery and local grocery store is just 2 mins by foot away.

Great outgoing host who provided a clean hospitable room and kitchenette at a very reasonable price, in a wonderful location. The room was fully equipped with a very usable balcony to enjoy the mourning. Who could resist the charm of the host welcoming you with fresh squeezed orange juice!

The air conditioning cannot be remotely controlled and so you cannot set the temperature. The kitchen could use some oil, spices and kitchen paper. These issues were minor and if you are looking for great hospitality, I would overlook them and recommend staying here.

The owners were very nice and left us baked treats, as well as some wine and some Raki. There were also some fresh lemons and eggs and before we left they gave us a magnet and fresh orange juice. The hospitality of the hosts is unbeatable. The location is also quite good, the beach is a 5 min walk and about 15 min to the center of the old town. A big supermarket is also just around the corner. The hosts are also quick to respond to any queries.

We couldn't fault this property. Everything was perfect. We were met with freshly squeezed orange juice and cake. Our room was perfect with many small personal touches to make it feel like home. A bottle of wine, jar of nuts, fresh eggs, orange juice, raki were all in the kitchen for us to use. It took us five minutes to walk to the beach and old town. The owner was amazing and couldn't do enough for us. I thoroughly recommend this property.

The apartment is cozy, quiet and well situated. The sights and the beach are only a short walk away and there's a supermarket around the corner. The hospitality of the owners was exceptional and would have made Zeus proud.

We spent 15 amazing days in Alexiou Apartments. Sofi and Nico are excellent hosts striving to do everything for you to feel comfortable and pleasant. The apartment was well equipped with all amenities you might need. They changed towels almost every day and cleaned the apartment, so it was extremely clean. Sofi is a great chef and we enjoyed her cookies, pies and other food. They also left a few surprises for us in the room. All in all, this was an exceptional experience.

Amazing hospilatlity, Owners are very helpfull and friendly. Rooms were cleaned every day with fresh towels. Lovely suprises were waiting for us from time to time (bottle of wine, home made cookies, fresh grapes etc.). I never before fell so cared on holidays. The best care ever!

Everything was just perfect! The owners are very friendly. Upon arriving, they treated us to freshly squeezed orange juice and cake. We also got a small souvenir gift from them, which was very nice. There was a bottle of wine and raki waiting for us in the room. The host also left fresh eggs, some cake and juice for us during our stay. The apartment was very well equipped, cleaned daily and sparkling clean. Very comfortable bed, large and comfortable balcony. Comfortable parking space. 4-minute walk to the beach. Close to shops and restaurants. When I come back to Crete I will definitely want to stay here again!

Our stay at the AA Blue was truly wonderful. The apartment had everything we could have asked for, including a spacious shower and mosquito nets on the window and balcony door. Its' location near the beach, close to a supermarket and the beautiful old town made our holiday very comfortable. But we were simply blown away by the great hospitality of the owners, Sofia and Niko. They welcomed us with open arms in every way. You can tell that all their help, care and support comes from the heart. Thank you so much for all your service, the great conversations and amazing home made food, Sofia and Niko!

The view from the balcony isnt anything special but that is a small complaint.

Big apartment and very well equipped. Close to beach and within walking distance from old town. Very close to supermarket and bakery. Amazing hosts that will pick you up from bus station, give advice what to do and what to see, leave free gifts in the fridge and even invite you for a meal and rakija :)

The owners were lovely, super-hospitable, and very generous. Worth a stay just to meet them🙂. The apartment is very good although the immediate setting around it is certainly not picturesque. It is however very convenient with a good supermarket next door and we enjoyed the walk along the sea front to the old town and it's excellent mix of restaurants.

We loved our stay there! The apartment was large and had everything you needed. Just a short walk to the centre and the local beach. The owner was just amazing: he saved a parking spot for us when we arrived, welcomed us with fresh orange juice and home made pastries, and gave us good tips of the area.

I spent a brilliant time in Rethymno. Nikos and Sofi were very kind to me and welcomed me. The mood was warm, lovely and open hearted. I'm happy to meet them. Nikos picked up and took me to the airport. Location is very good. The beach, the supermarket and the Old Town are very close. I will recommend this apartments to my friends and I would like to come back here.
