Oh my god, BEST STAY EVER. This place felt like the absolute lap of luxury. Very tasteful decor, extremely comfortable bed, ambient lighting, well stocked kitchen,.comfortable sofa, washing machine, dishwasher and huge TV (not that we spent much time inside!). Lovely staff - Maria was so welcoming and checked in on us throughout the stay. Contact with Katerina was very easy and she responded very quickly. We had a bottle of wine, cheese and snacks to welcome us. The pool and outside lounge area was just perfect. Katerina was so helpful and obliging, allowing us an early check in and very late check out (when we couldn't bear to leave!). The nearby beaches are very handy, not the best we have been to in Greece but close by and clean, with lovely clear water and not too windy. About 5-10mins drive to Paleochora so would be best to have a rental car. Paleochora itself is a lovely town with lots of choices to eat and drink, as well as a lovely beach and very friendly people. We absolutely loved our stay and can't wait to come back again someday!

My wife and I had an amazing time in the Akra Grammeno Villas. The place is located in a very beautiful place near Palaichora. The apartments are big, very well maintained, very clean, with new equipment and decorated with great taste. The host Katerina with the help of Kiki did everything possible to help us and make our stay perfect. We will come back there for sure!

The location of the villas is outstanding - just 300m from sand and stone beaches that were not really crowded in the end of September. The place is a modern, cozy, well-equipped with everything you need for your comfortable stay. The owner Katerina was super sweet and helpful. My wife an I will definitely have the best memories because of this place. We would definitely come back here again.

Self check-in would be useful. We had building work going on for a couple of days-this was accompanied by many apologies but somehow not foreseen.

An amazing place, a minute to the beach. Well appointed with a great kitchen. Very comfortable, great terrace dining. Attentive hosts. Lots of food supplies and welcome goodies. All as advertised. Team went out of their way to greet us.

Absolutely nothing!

Katerina has created this beautiful set of apartments with love, passion and excellent attention to detail throughout. From the massive, super comfy bed to the luxurious fluffy towels, everything was of a very high standard. We have stayed in many places in Greece, but this just has to be one of the best! In a great location, away from the crowds, but with 5 different places to eat and drink just a stones throw away - just perfect for a peaceful, relaxing holiday in a very beautiful part of Crete. Thank you Katerina, for being such a great and welcoming host and for the excellent communication both before and during our stay. We will certainly return again soon!

For us as a family of 7 the location and accommodation was perfect, right next to a small peninsula with a sandy beach and a stoney beach, if it was windy one side just head to the other side. Great little snack bar for lunch and a very short 3 min drive to the main town. We have been visiting Paleochora for 15 years and this accommodation is the best by far.

The cleaning inside the villa has some room for improvement.

The design of the villa is pretty nice and modern and the house is fully equipped with everything you may need. The location is awesome, close to two different types of beaches. The property owner attention was awesome.

This is a jewel of a place - beautifully and thoughtfully designed with impeccable hosts focused on enabling the best vacation possible. We rented the two bedroom which has a nice sized basement kids area for our 15 and 11 year olds. Wi-Fi is excellent , beds are comfortable and outside area is gorgeous.

It‘s a stylish, very spacious and luxurious place in a very quiet neighborhood outside of Palaiachora. The terrace and pool are just a dream, and an empty beach just a min away. We were also much impressed by the prompt and friendly service by Katerina and Kiki. If you are bound for some great accommodation in a quiet area, this is the place to go!

we loved our stay and can’t say we didn’t like certain things. As mentioned, this is quite a new property and I’m sure the team will continuously improve as they operate. They were very gracious to ask for constructive feedback which I appreciate very much coming from a hospitality background. A few things to consider: - The main door lock would sometimes get “stuck” but we were lucky that someone helped us open the door. - Since we stayed off- season, it is understandable that the weather will be how it was. we were lucky to always have sunshine but at night, the howling winds can be heard through the doors. I’m sure there’s some great solutions for resolving soundproofing.

We wanted to explore the southern part of Crete and found this amazing beachfront gem. It took about 1hr30mins from Chania airport to traverse the picturesque winding roads that lead to the property but it was most definitely worth the escape! Katerina was exceptionally welcoming communicating before our arrival and with her team member Kiki meeting us at the property. As we drove up, we were delighted to see the luxurious structure and white gravel parking lot. The facilities are beautifully built with so much attention to fine details that made us feel at home. A welcome apero and a lovely seating area outside was a delightful welcome that set the tone to our wonderful stay. You can see with the decors and amenities of the property that they worked hard to create such a beautiful retreat for their guests. Although the property is quite new, we immediately felt relaxed and happy. We had everything we needed for our stay and grocery shops were nearby. + Bathroom: spacious with good natural lighting. Fixtures are nice and such a plus to see a bidet as this is not very common in Europe! High quality towels and free soaps, shampoo, conditioner, and lotion. Baskets to organize your things and hampers for used towels were a nice touch. Blow drier also available. + Bed: comfortable and with appropriate beddings for the season. The pillows are good too! We appreciated also their thoughtfulness to add mood and reading lighting. Bedside outlet plugs were available too. + Cooling/Heating: There’s an A/C unit which was sufficient and the ceiling fan worked well too. There’s a small fireplace but we didn’t use it. + Lighting: Although sometimes confusing to use the switches, the lighting was sufficient and paid attention to areas that added a subtle ambience throughout the room and even outside the property. Lots of natural light during the day so you don’t really need to worry about this.

You can see (and hear) the terraces and pools of the other units to some extent, and vice versa, but they will be more private when the plants have grown up. We were there during a period of very strong winds and the door next to the bed howled so loudly we slept with earplugs!

Our stylish studio had a well-equipped kitchen and a light, airy feel with colorful kilims setting off the white. The terrace with small private pool was lovely (though very close to the neighbouring unit). The property is brand new and the grounds have been lovingly planted with trees, shrubs and flowers. We liked being away from touristy Paleochora but close enough for easy access to restaurants and provisions, and loved being steps from two beautiful beaches! There was a nice bottle of wine, cheese, snacks and a bowl of fruit waiting for us on arrival. Nice bath products too! Katerina was a kind and very attentive hostess, though we never met in person. She provided local recommendations and even checked in on us the morning after a storm to make sure everything was fine.

Amazing place, very well equipped, with lovely views as shown in the photos. The host is engaging, nice and responsive. We where welcomed personally, shown the house and an explanation about some features and equipments, and local tips. Some very nice food was in the fridge - water, wine, cheese, fruits, etc. There are detergents and capsules for the use of the machines (washing clothes and dishes, coffee). There is complimentary olive oil, vinegar, salt, peper, sugar, stevia... The pool area is great to be in, water temperature 25°, with lots of sun and some shade, very well furnished and with a good shower - great view of the garden and of the sea. The beach right in front of the villas is very beautiful and peaceful, we had special shoes to go in the rocks so we enjoyed it a lot. If you turn towards the sunset, 3 minutes walking on the path, you will find the sand beach of Grammeno, with sunbeds, showers and beach bar/restaurant. All in all a great place, with great location and definetly would come back again!!
