This is our second time here after just one week, and I can confirm our first excellent impression and review. The room this time was smaller (which is not a problem) but very charming, with stained glass windows and equipped with all the comforts. The staff is incredibly kind and friendly, and the location makes this place our go-to spot in Chiang Mai whenever we return. Breakfast is very good. Highly recommended.

This location is so beautiful and serene. The building, the facilities, the food and most importantly: the staff. Poppy, Nest and Praew made our stay, our meals and all our activities so pleasant. The included breakfast is fantastic and the restaurant on site has a Michelin guide certification which tells you all you need to know about the quality of food. The property has everything you need so no need to venture far, however, the bicycles are available for use and scooter rental is cheap and convenient to do.

Situato a Chiang Mai, vicino al fiume Mae Ping, l'Hongkhao Villa offre un boutique resort in stile Lanna con arredi dai toni chiari in legno di teak massiccio. Very nice little hotel just outside the old town. Large, comfortable, clean and stylish rooms. Very good and quiet air conditioning. Sufficient, good and varied breakfast. Clean pool with good water temperature and comfortable outside area next to it. Polite helpful and available (until 24.00) staff. The exteriors of the hotel are beautiful and well maintained, with many large plants. You feel like you are on the edge of the jungle. We had a rental car initially, but when we left it we got around easily and cheaply by taxi or the red buses. With 100-150 baht you go quickly to the old town or the airport. There are several dining options nearby, but while the places are beautiful, neither the service nor the food satisfied us. On the last day it was raining a lot and we preferred to order pizza and eat it in the covered pool area. It was very nice. Overall the hotel was beautiful with a relaxing environment. We will stay there again on our next visit to Chiag Mai.

Situato nel tranquillo villaggio agricolo di Huai Sai, a Mae Rim, il Country Retreat offre bungalow e una piscina all'aperto. This place is truly amazing! Ying and Pete made us feel so welcome, very warm and generous people. Ying is a great chef, she cooked the best meals of our entire trip in Thailand. It was cozy to have a beer and a chat with the other guests at Pete’s bar in the afternoon. The bungalows are very well equipped, and neat and tidy. Everything just works perfectly. There is such an amazing view over the rice fields with village and mountains behind. The pool was very nice too, it was clean and fresh and had some very nice shade areas around. We loved everything about this place, and would really recommend it to others looking for a nice place to relax with great hosts. We stayed with a 7 month old baby and had a really good experience with our stay at Pete and Ying fantastic place. We hope to return some day!
