Fantastic time with the team an Ceylon Resort, but in particular we loved the family and the warm welcome we received - it was very special. Our kids played with each other and we will have lasting memories. Thank you!!!!

Thimibiri wewa was a welcoming change for us after our booking at "green sapphire resort in wilpattu got cancelled. And by the Green Sapphire did not inform us till the day before that they decided to cancel us(we had sent about 5 emails to booking.com and , several phone calls and emails to green Sapphire, they ignored us. So thimbiri wewa was a last minute ,booking. And it is a welcoming pleasant surprise.

The host is a well known bioligist who build a few lodges next to the national park entrance and situated in the rice fields. Do not expect any luxury. The money earned go’s after costs back to nature preservation. GO HERE!!

Great luxury camping experience on the edge of Wilpattu Game Park. Camp staff were very friendly and wildlife trackers very well informed. The morning jeep safari into the Park through the indigenous forest is amazing, whether you see many animals or not. Just soak in the atmosphere! Food generous and generally good quality.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Ceylon Resort Wilpattu. The accomodation is comfortable and the host Roshan will go out of his way to help you in any way. He organised a morning safari for us which was great. The food was also really delicious and accomodated for our tastes, as well as our daughters. Thanks Roshan and family for your hospitality.

Wow...we have no words to describe It. We have a really good time in Ceylon Resort, Roshan was so kind and smiley, It was a pleasure to meet you and your lovely family:) We did the full safari day in Wilpattu and they provide us delicious local food for breakfast and lunch. Also the driver was so nice and we were Lucky, we saw Lota of animals as leopard, bear, turtles... The room was clean. Definitely fully recomended...we keep a beautiful memories of the experience on our Hearts. Thanks for all. <3 Pedro and Raquel

The host was super friendly and attentive. The safari offered in the resort was amazing, and the driver gave it all for us to see all the animals the Park had to offer. The beds were very comfortable and the food very good.

Lovely accommodation in a rural spot close to the national park. We received a lovely welcome at this family run resort and nothing was too much trouble. The rooms were very comfortably furnished and the food was all home cooked and delicious. You can book your safari on site for either a full or half day. All in all a very relaxing stay.

The host was very very kind! He took very good care of us, the resort and the animals on it. He was constantly making sure we had everything we wanted. The room was very clean. The location is only a few kilometers from the park entrance, you can arrange a safari here, even last minute. We loved sitting on the porch enjoying the view. Dinner and breakfast were delicious and with large portions! We would recommend staying here!
