Facing the seafront in Kota Belud, Bigfin beach resort features a private beach area. Offering a restaurant, the property also has a garden. The property provides sea views and a terrace. Feels like a hidden gem and private paradise. Great dive shop with charismatic guides, nice boat, sufficient equipment. Great to wake up to a view of Mt Kinabalu and all the food was really lovely home cooking and tasted great. It felt like living in a little community for a couple of days :)

Situated amidst abundant greenery, Sepilok Nature Lodge - Formerly known as Sepilok Nature Resort is a haven for nature lovers. Absolutely beautiful! A wonderfully peaceful oasis in Sepilok right next to the orangutan rehabilitation centre. Being surrounded by nature was my favourite part, we even had some visitors in the form of orangutans on a couple of occasions! food was simple, but there was an authority, and it was tasty! We loved our experience here, so much that we booked an extra night!

The Magellan Sutera Resort està situat a Kota Kinabalu, a poca distància del port esportiu i del club de camp i de golf de Sutera Harbour. Clean, spacious rooms. Friendly, attentive staff. Great choice at breakfast. Our hotel itself was beautiful, ample facilities across the resort. Great for kids-multiple pools, indoor/outdoor play areas, bowling alley. Definitely recommend booking a boat trip over to Manukan island for the day-a little bit of paradise

Boasting 6 dining options, an exclusive Chi, The Spa and an outdoor pool with water jets, Shangri-La Tanjung Aru Kota Kinabalu offers luxury beachfront accommodation in Tanjung Aru. Spacious room, we love the view overlooking the sea as we were able to catch the sunset from our room balcony. We love the various tea selection in the room, they welcomed us with a mini birthday decoration for me even when I did not request for any. Facilities were great. The children loved the pool and the water slides very much. Location was great as its a short 15 mins drive to the airport, a short drive (can walk but with smallnkids it can be quite a distance) to the Tanjung Aru Beach Night Market and also nearby many food places. It is also a short 12 mins drive to the famous Filipino Market. A must visit when you're in KK! Breakfast spread was really good. A lot of varieties to choose from but it was quite crowded when we were there, there were many travellers from overseas so if you go for breakfast after 9am, some food may have finished. Can easily book island hopping via Star Marina at Shang Ri La. We had a great time at Manukan Island booked via Star Marina. In addition, staffs were accommodating and welcoming. Definitely will stay here again when I visit KK in the near future!

Featuring 3-star accommodation, Kokol Haven Resort is situated in Kota Kinabalu, 15 km from Filipino Market Sabah and 11 km from Likas City Mosque. Breakfast is ok but the view in the environment is like in heaven 10/10

Nestled amongst the natural and lush greenery of the rainforests near the border between Malaysia and Brunei, Mulu Marriott Resort is located on Melinau Paku River in Miri. We loved absolutely everything. Staying at the resort feels like being in paradise. The architecture and gardens are stupendous. The staff are exceptionally friendly, helpful and efficient. A special mention must be made of the quality of the food : it is almost unbelievable to discover such a talented chef in the middle of the jungle : the restaurant can compete with the best in Kuala Lumpur or Singapore. We would come back only to have another taste of the bamboo chicken!
