This hotel is just a secret gem. I normally do not write hotel reviews, but we had such an amazing time here, that we have to pay some tribute. The hotel is quite small, with a perfectly sized pool, restaurant and access to the beach (which gets cleaned everyday). Due to the size of the hotel, it gets a unique cozy touch. We loved everything from the food, the pool, rooms, extremely friendly and attentive staff. Rooms are spacious with a nice balcony and modern/stylish interior. There is absolutely nothing negative to say abt this hotel. I will come back!

i don’t usually review the resort or hotels, but this resort is outstanding! and i don’t usually repeat the experience if i travel in the same place, but if we ever go Zanzibar again (3rd time) we’ll definitely stay at Tulia again!! i travelled a lot, saw many 5* resorts but this is the best, in my oppinion. exacly what we are looking for: quiet, exotic bungalows, luxury experience.

Loved the atmosphere! And the people where so nice! They upgraded us when we came for free and very helpful! We asked if we could pre-order the breakfast because we were leaving early for an excursion, and they had it ready in the morning! So lovely and always in a good mood!

The villa is spacious and very beautiful with comfortable beds. We spent most of our time in the villa as the view was spectacular, and the Housekeeping ladies went the extra mile to put fresh petals on our bed everyday. Breakfast had good variety, and the dinner was very tasty with a selection of international and local dishes, plus the staff were very welcoming, friendly and made our stay very comfortable.

The locations was superb, right next to the beach with a lovely bar in front. Breakfast was incredible- platter of fresh fruit, followed by your choice! Maryam even played with our daughter during it! We were looked after from start to finish and the hotel staff went above and beyond when helping me with my wife's and daughter's birthdays! An experience they will never forget :)
