What a gem of a place! When you arrive, the entrance doesn't look like much but once you go up the stairs and meet the family, you know you're in the right place. They are simply the kindest people you will meet on your journey. I loved my room. The bed was the best I've had on this trip. New, soft, and so comfortable. The room was spacious and the bathroom was modern and clean. The breakfasts are insanely good. An array of home cooked and mostly coconut based dishes. I'm a fan of coconuts so this was heaven for me. They have the hookup for tuktuks around the old city and there are lots of restaurants immediately around the guesthouse.

The owners are so nice and the food extraordinary!! We got a travel plan provided for the city for our days and all the tips he could share. The food from his wife was amazing, both diner and breakfast! The rooms are spacious and the hot water is super nice. The rooftop had great view over the city as well. We absolutely loved this property. From the minute we arrived the family were smiling and helpful & greeted us with a lovely juice. The room was exceptionally spacious, very clean and the bed was very comfy. Aircon was also great. The family seemed to go out of their way to please. Location is perfect, very quiet & just a 5 min walk to town and about 10 mins to the base of Mihithale steps leading up to the beautiful temple. If this property is available - just book it!
