Eightfold Urban Resort is the best place you can be to unwind and enjoy Cambodian hospitality. From the lush trees and beautiful swimming pool, the comfortable bed and grand bathtub, spacious room, to the extremely attentive, welcoming and helpful staff... you can't help but be happy! Even the rain makes it magical! Its location a little outside the centre made it nicely quiet, while the centre was easily accessible in a 20 minute walk, by readily available tuktuks, or through free evening shuttles. They don't cut corners in making guests feel welcomed and special... and that includes complimentary arrival and depature shuttles, welcome drink and snack, and refreshing fruits, farewell dinner and parting small gift (Anna, it did give me good luck 😊)

The breakfast was great - equal amounts of local and western options depending on your preference. Very flavorful noodle soup (Kuy Yea?) and Bor Bor!

The rooms were excellent. We had pool view rooms - sheets were wonderfully thick and pristine, very roomy, elegant and very clean. Bathroom was enormous with a bath, separate shower area and double sink vanity. The breakfast was varied and the staff very attentive. It had a nice mix of western-type breakfast offering and local Cambodian soups and noodles. The coffee was actually really really good instead of the often watered down filtered coffee one gets as such spreads. We cannot say enough about the staff - The front desk staff - Soriya - in particular - but really everyone at all hours of the day really went out of their way to help us making bookings, with suggestions, and just greeting us warmly after a hot day out exploring. Because the hotel doesn't have secure wifi, one of the staff, Sam, even helped me out by allowing me to using his personal hotspot when I needed a secure connection. Truly excellent and above and beyond the call of duty!

The Hotel was the perfect base during our time in Siem Reap. We stayed for 6 nights which was great to explore most of Angkor Wat and Siem Reap in a relaxed way. And even after this time it was hard to say goodbye. The hotel owner David and all his staff are super warm and attentive. They really make sure everything is perfect. Everytime they surprised us with different little treats like fruit juices, delicious banana chips or fresh fruit in the room. The hotel itself is beautiful and very well maintained. Our room was spacious (we even got an upgrade!) and very clean. Breakfast and all food in the hotel‘s restaurant were delicious. Everything was just perfect! we booked tours through the hotel with a TukTuk - Rorth was our driver for the whole time and we loved him! The hotel is not directly in the city center. But it is very quiet (the neighborhood is safe too!) and you can order a TukTuk at the reception at any time. It‘s 3$ return.

Our fourth stay and wont be the last , we love this place , the staff are all to easy to like , the pool is our favourite in the world and we travel a lot (never cold) . A special thanks to the new Siso bistro and bar and its host Mr Pheara and his fantastic staff .The food is great , live music and the ambiance loverly.
