The swimmingpool was just perfect. Nice (warm) water and amazing views.. the bungalows were very good with a nice view and all basics (safe, frigerator, airco). Nice staff and good service. The resort was a walking distance from the main road with restaurants. Only one we found with a good selection of vegetarian food (food art hut) about 20 minutes walk.

Offering direct access to beautiful Ao Kratueng Beach, Makathanee Resort is located on the island of Koh Mak. Guestrooms and the outdoor pool are set within tropical landscaped gardens. It was so well located. For one thing, it was on the correct side of the island for clear water and the resort has a pier that you can use to take a boat to the marine reserve. A must do!

Terletak di Ko Mak, 7 menit jalan kaki dari Pantai Ao Soun Yai, Hanoii House menawarkan akomodasi dengan taman, parkir pribadi gratis, dan teras. What a lovely property (garden full of flowers, deck-chairs)! Room is perfectly sized for one (also for 2 if you are not picky) and basically offers everything you need. It is very clean, has a fridge, you daily also get a free water. I loved mini private "balcony" on the backside with drying rack (too small for sitting though). Owner is nice and friendly and I had no problem with basic communication in English. I also got pickup at the pier after sending arrival information. Supermarket and several restaurants and bars walking distance away. Would love to stay here again!

Boasting a private beach along Suanyai Bay, Seavana Koh Mak Beach Resort features an outdoor pool, soothing massage treatments, and beach facilities services. Came for a second time to Seavana. The team is still amazing, the hotel offers very spacious rooms. Breakfast is included and good. Located on the best beach of Koh Mak. Thank you for everything, and special thanks to Jim!

Berlokasi 2,3 km from Pantai Ao Soun Yai, Koh Mak Garden View menyediakan akomodasi dengan taman, teras, dan dapur bersama untuk kenyamanan Anda. The whole small complex is beautiful and the pictures on Booking.com don't do it any justice at all. The bed linine and towels were changed regularly and there are washing machines here to wash clothes and feel fresh again. There us nothing to dislike about this plave and great value for money. A/C in rooms is superb too. The gardens area is big and beautiful. 10/10 for me

Good location on the island, Natida will be the best host and will arrange everything you need. Super friendly and helpful, she is a very kind person. Rooms are great with a clean AC, and it's quiet. What else ? ;)

The location is excellent since the island is small, allowing you to reach any destination within a maximum of 15 minutes on a motorbike. This place offers privacy and a personal retreat when you want to step back from the communal island life. The facilities truly stand out. Upon arrival, I was captivated by the expansive outdoor area, which includes a large patio right on the beach and a spacious balcony with a big dining table (perfect for game nights and inviting new friends over). There’s even an outdoor bed to relax on after a day at the beach. The room itself is quite large, comfortable, and surrounded by big windows that offer panoramic sea views. The bathroom is adequately sized with hot water, and basic toiletries are provided. The kitchen is well-equipped with a kettle, fridge, toaster, microwave, dishes, and everything you need for a pleasant stay. Moreover, the landlady, So (Natida), is wonderful. Booking this place not only means a great stay but also getting to know So. She goes above and beyond—from arranging bike rentals delivered right to your door to handling your laundry and maintaining the cleanliness of the hut. So is always there for her guests, genuinely caring about your experience and offering help whenever needed. She's truly a special person. Note that I initially planned to stay for 14 days and ended up extending it to 45 days. That’s how perfect this place and the island are!
