It's always the people who make the difference and the two who looked after us during our stay could not have been better. Warm and welcoming it was like staying with friends and yet there was always professionalism and attention to detail. Whilst our quite spacious 'small' room may not have had quite the style of the public areas it was nevertheless very comfortable. The team took a pride in offering food and drink of a high quality with some interesting and unusual offerings and yet it all felt comfortable and not at all pretentious. A great location and we were comfortable leaving the motorbike in their car park.

Garni Hotel Miklič is a 3-star hotel located amidst the mountains in the town of Kranjska Gora, at the foothills of Vitranc and right next to a ski slope. I requested to have fruit in lieu of breakfast and the owner offered me a wide range of fruit. I didn't take all that was on offer, but the owner really tried to fulfil my request. Breakfast is amazing and it has really met my expectations. Furthermore, it was just a pleasure waking up with the view over the mountains. The hotel is situated in a quiet area not far from the Kranjska Gora Ski resort.

Hotel Špik is located within the same building as Špik Alpine Wellness Centre and offering wonderful views of the surrounding mountains and forests. Spa is nice, good food overall. Great location.
