Hotel Cad really exceeded our expectations - it is a new, modern hotel that is stylishly designed, has amazing and comfortable rooms (with very comfortable beds!) and a lovely brasserie where breakfast is served. Parking was available for free in a secure spot and the hotel catered for a late arrival with ease. We had an amazing stay over 3 nights and highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Ljubljana. The hotel is a brisk 15-20 minute walk from the historic city centre and the path goes through a lovely park, although there are also well lit streets with traffic if you walk in the evening and prefer a more safe route. Don't be deterred by the fact that the hotel may appear a bit distant from the old town - the walk is in fact quick and a great escape from the city. The hotel itself is in a quiet area so ideal if you want to unwind! Lastly, there is an excellent restaurant right next door which serves delicious Balkan cuisine.

Bus stand 2 minutes. It is a distance from the city centre - bus €2 ( 30 minutes) or a cab €15. So not that far. The room was spacious. The washroom was decently spacious too and very comfortable. The shower was excellent. The minibar is included and free. The breakfast was included and very good. The winner for us was the parking. Highly recommended.
