Situated in Panglao, 800 metres from Danao Beach, Selectum Mangrove Resort features accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a garden and a terrace. I arrived to the hotel straight from a hospital, and it was clear I couldn’t have found a better place where to recover from dengue fever. The owners and the staff were always warm and friendly and made everything to make my stay as good as possible. They even brought me medicine from the pharmacy when I was too weak to go there by myself and made me papaya leaf juice. My room was clean, bed comfortable, pillows good and AC was working perfectly. Garden is beautiful, well kept and full of beautiful details. And I just loved the pool! Neighborhood is quiet, perfect for relaxing, I got the best night sleep I had in Philippines.The hotel is only 5 minutes from Alona with a scooter or tricycle. There are also restaurants in walking distance but there’s no need to leave the hotel because they also cook delicious food there! I had the best shrimp pasta and really enjoyed their fitness breakfast with fresh fruits (after I got my appetite back). Thank you all so much for taking such a good care of me!

We highly recommend this place, especially to (free)divers.
