Fitzcarrald Hotel is offering accommodation in Iquitos. This 3-star hotel offers a concierge service and a tour desk. It’s a hidden gem in Iquitos. Fabiola, the owner, was always there to take care of you. They even took care of the other guests when I arrived early morning not making any noise to them. For sure I recommend this hotel and will go back. The smart tv in the room and fast wifi internet was a game changer in a city where internet is not good.

The area is beautiful, the staff is experienced, friendly, knowledgeable of the jungle, the animals and insects, accommodating of your interests and needs. The food is prepared beautifully, though the chicken is much better than the beef. The daily trips through the jungle, on the river, bird watching, fishing, visits to local villages, dolphin watching, stargazing were ALL fantastic and made the trip, well worth the inconveniences.

They genuinely are happy to help. The hotel is very clean, safe, breakfast included and centrally located just 3 blocks from main square. Rooms are very spacious, queen bed and most importantly with AC. Pharmacies and the supermarket Portales are just 1 block away. They are very flexible with the bookings and, in my case, due to a flight delayed, they allowed us to change the dates of the booking in a very attentive way.
