Gave clear instructions as to how keys were to be left upon leaving. The hotel itself had a warm and charming atmosphere and was well furnished. The beds were comfortable and clean. The hotel had well thoughtout decor, and a good playlist of music in the common areas. Really well put together. I would highly recommend staying here when visiting Aluksne. 10/10 The restaurant within the hotel was beautifully decorated. The tables were well dressed, and the food was delicious. Service was top notch! Value for your money spent is well worth it! I found the rooms to be quite affordable. The accomodations were wonderful.

I loved this little place. I think it might be family owned, but it was just so quaint and comfortable. It has one room with a balcony, and I immediately reserved it when I knew I would be stopping in this small town. It wasn't much more expensive, but it made the room bigger, and I could sit outside at night and relax. The breakfast was really excellent. It's not a buffet; you enter the restaurant and your table has been set out for you. It was a big breakfast, and I couldn't eat everything. But I tried. Everything was super fresh and flavorful. I also had something to eat there the evening before, and although the menu wasn't huge, the food was great. The town is very small, but you can walk across a footbridge to an island where there are ancient ruins of a fortress. Sometimes this site is used for concerts and live events, although none were scheduled when I was there. I went for a quick swim in the lake nearby. I discovered a fabulous Latvian beer called Valmiermuiza in this place.

Located in the Latvian town of Alūksne, Jolanta offers heated rooms with a TV set, work desk and free Wi-Fi. It has a pool. The Jolanta’s rooms feature warm colours and have wooden furniture. Very friendly and helpful staff. Room was nice and clean. Breakfast was super!

The building itself is a little bit old but inside it is just 100% new. There is everything you need (ironing board, TV, etc...) and a very nice balcony.

The apartment was suprisingly neat, well equipped and warm. Excellent location with an okay view and no traffic noise. Couldn't have asked for more.
