Our 3 days/2 nights in Il Frangipane have been amazing! The facility is a little tropical paradise, well maintained and well designed: perfect for some relaxing days. The room is really big, clean and with modern furniture, as the bathroom. The breakfast is big, a good mix between English and srilankan breakfast. Their best strength is the always kind and helpful staff! They’ll always help you with a big smile! Thank you for those amazing days!

Located in Sigiriya, 3 km from Sigiriya Rock, Sigiriya Cottage provides accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a terrace and a restaurant. The place is really nice and the owner is very welcoming. He was available and gave great insight on what activities we should do. He spotted our traveler profile and advised us accordingly. At the hotel, you can grab some bikes and there is a cool trail around the nearby lake... The room was clean, bigger than expected, and comfortable. The food was good and they bake their berad onsite etc... You can't go wrong there.

Set in Sigiriya, 3.7 km from Sigiriya Rock, The Cottage Sigiriya offers accommodation with free bikes, free private parking, an outdoor swimming pool and a garden. On a month long trip to Sri Lanka, filled with beautiful places and accommodations - the Cottage holds a special place in my heart. We spent two amazing days here, and later in our trip we decided to go back for 5 more. From the kindness of the staff, the excellent hospitality, the pool that was somehow always the right temperature, the location in nature and all of the life that surrounds it - we had a perfect stay. The gentleman that cares for the plants, pool and grounds works all day making sure the place looks great and the pool is always clean. The chef makes great food, and the Sri Lankan breakfast was excellent. The location is a short bike ride from town, or if you have your own tuktuk as we did it’s about a 5 minute ride. It’s in the midst of the jungle. In our days there we had encounters with every type of bird in Sri Lanka. Monkeys of all varieties. Even Elephants. The near by lake, which you will drive by the signed path to, is a must at sunrise. Walking further down the road into the farmers fields (stay on the road, don’t walk on their crops) will yield incredible sunsets with peacocks calling in the background and a clear view of lions rock. Bungalows are simple, clean and comfortable. The staff went out of their way to ensure we had a great experience. We will most certainly return here in the future and highly recommend it to others. There is more to see in Sigiriya than you think, and a couple of days at the cottage is a great base to explore and relax. Mama, the local dog running around is very sweet. If you’re a dog loving traveler as I am - take care of her and show her some love. She’ll keep the monkeys off your tuktuk 😉

Located in Dambulla, 17 km from Sigiriya Rock, Black Mustang Hotel provides accommodation with free bikes, free private parking, a garden and a terrace. Everything about the property was amazing. We had a garden view room. Breakfast served was very tasty with authentic srilankan food. Value for the money

Situata a Sigiriya, a 1,6 km dalla Roccia di Sigiriya, La Dolce Vita offre un ristorante, un parcheggio privato gratuito, un giardino e una terrazza. Lovely stay by all means. Room was very pleasant, clean, bathroom as well. Breakfact included in the price was very testy, so as other food in the restaurant (and reasonably priced). Staff was helpful. We loved the pool - very clean and lovely located in the garden, especially appealing after walking up Lions Rock in the heat.

La casa è molto ben tenuta, in rapporto alla media, in mezzo al verde, tranquilla; è la prima che ho trovato con il phon in dotazione. Colazione locale, abbondante. Alla sera è piacevole stare nel portico, sorseggiando un tè. L' host risponde in breve tempo, è disponibile e attento. Io viaggiavo con l' autista e mi ha procurato una stanza per lui ad un prezzo ottimo.

The tranquil environment with being surrounded by the trees really sets up a very soothing atmosphere. The pool and the jacuzzi really helps you wind down after a long day of hiking. A lot of good eating spots around the property within walking distance. Also if your feeling tired the Spanish srilankan fusion cuisine made in house is also recommended. The peppery manager Emanuel will make sure you’re very well taken care of.

Situato a Sigiriya, a 1,3 km dalla Roccia di Sigiriya e a 3,9 km dalla Roccia di Pidurangala, il Sunrise Cottage offre un giardino, la connessione WiFi gratuita e un parcheggio privato senza costi... Hidden gem - amazing little cottage hidden in the trees but still very close to Sigirya centre and al the tourist attractions. The room was spacious, clean and well-equipped. We absolutely adored the pool! The owner was fantastic and accommodated to all our needs.

L'Evergreen sorge a 5 km dal Tempio delle Grotte di Rangiri Dambulla e a 10 km dalla roccia di Sigiriya. Questa struttura è immersa nel verde, tra le luminose risaie di Dambulla. Dal primo momento è stato come arrivare a casa, siamo stati accolti in famiglia. La casa è splendida, la camera spaziosa, confortevole e con un meraviglioso bagno. Meravigliosa la vista dal tetto. Il giardino è curatissimo, una giungla in miniatura, con piante di banano e fiori di ogni tipo. C’è un grande pergolato con tavoli dove la mattina viene servita la colazione, e che può essere utilizzato per rilassarsi e prendere il sole. La colazione all’inglese è abbondante e deliziosa, e ogni nostra esigenza alimentare è stata accontentata. I proprietari sono sempre disponibili a dare consigli su locali e luoghi nei dintorni, sono disponibili ad organizzare i trasporti e a chiamare driver e tuk-tuk. In alcune occasioni ci hanno accompagnato loro stessi. Sono sempre stati prodighi di ottimi consigli, ed è stato un piacere chiacchierare con loro e conoscere qualcosa in più della loro vita. Siamo stati benissimo e consigliamo a chiunque voglia visitare questa zona di soggiornare qui, che è anche un ottimo punto di partenza per i vari siti di interesse: Grotte del tempio, Tempio d’oro, Sighirya, Polonnaruwa e parco nazionale di Minnerya. Speriamo di poterci incontrare di nuovo!

Welcome to our peaceful Nature Villa, nestled just a short distance from the majestic Lion Rock, only 1 km away. Wonderfull property. Super friendly staff. We had dinner and breakfast and both meals were amazing and beyond expectations.
