Our 3 days/2 nights in Il Frangipane have been amazing! The facility is a little tropical paradise, well maintained and well designed: perfect for some relaxing days. The room is really big, clean and with modern furniture, as the bathroom. The breakfast is big, a good mix between English and srilankan breakfast. Their best strength is the always kind and helpful staff! They’ll always help you with a big smile! Thank you for those amazing days!

The place is really nice and the owner is very welcoming. He was available and gave great insight on what activities we should do. He spotted our traveler profile and advised us accordingly. At the hotel, you can grab some bikes and there is a cool trail around the nearby lake... The room was clean, bigger than expected, and comfortable. The food was good and they bake their berad onsite etc... You can't go wrong there.

On a month long trip to Sri Lanka, filled with beautiful places and accommodations - the Cottage holds a special place in my heart. We spent two amazing days here, and later in our trip we decided to go back for 5 more. From the kindness of the staff, the excellent hospitality, the pool that was somehow always the right temperature, the location in nature and all of the life that surrounds it - we had a perfect stay. The gentleman that cares for the plants, pool and grounds works all day making sure the place looks great and the pool is always clean. The chef makes great food, and the Sri Lankan breakfast was excellent. The location is a short bike ride from town, or if you have your own tuktuk as we did it’s about a 5 minute ride. It’s in the midst of the jungle. In our days there we had encounters with every type of bird in Sri Lanka. Monkeys of all varieties. Even Elephants. The near by lake, which you will drive by the signed path to, is a must at sunrise. Walking further down the road into the farmers fields (stay on the road, don’t walk on their crops) will yield incredible sunsets with peacocks calling in the background and a clear view of lions rock. Bungalows are simple, clean and comfortable. The staff went out of their way to ensure we had a great experience. We will most certainly return here in the future and highly recommend it to others. There is more to see in Sigiriya than you think, and a couple of days at the cottage is a great base to explore and relax. Mama, the local dog running around is very sweet. If you’re a dog loving traveler as I am - take care of her and show her some love. She’ll keep the monkeys off your tuktuk 😉

Las vistas son agradables desde la habitación ya que está en medio del bosque y no hay edificios delante.

Room was very pleasant, clean, bathroom as well. Breakfact included in the price was very testy, so as other food in the restaurant (and reasonably priced). Staff was helpful. We loved the pool - very clean and lovely located in the garden, especially appealing after walking up Lions Rock in the heat.

The tranquil environment with being surrounded by the trees really sets up a very soothing atmosphere. The pool and the jacuzzi really helps you wind down after a long day of hiking. A lot of good eating spots around the property within walking distance. Also if your feeling tired the Spanish srilankan fusion cuisine made in house is also recommended. The peppery manager Emanuel will make sure you’re very well taken care of.

Hidden gem - amazing little cottage hidden in the trees but still very close to Sigirya centre and al the tourist attractions. The room was spacious, clean and well-equipped. We absolutely adored the pool! The owner was fantastic and accommodated to all our needs.

El Evergreen está a 5 km del Templo de la Cueva de Dambulla y a 10 km del yacimiento arqueológico Sigiriya. Very friendly family. Api and his wife were super nice. He found us nice tuktuk driver.who took us very where, Also a safari tour. We love it

El Nature Villa es un establecimiento tranquilo situado a poca distancia de la majestuosa roca del León, a solo 1 km. La roca de Sigiriya está a solo 7 minutos a pie o en bicicleta. Wonderfull property. Super friendly staff. We had dinner and breakfast and both meals were amazing and beyond expectations.
