Teressa and Antonio were wonderful hosts.It didnt feel like we were in a hotel, we felt at home.They went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed and wanted. The view from the room was amazing! It was a great value for what we paid. They offered transportstion from the bus stop to the their house. Their breakfast was delicious, Teressa makes homemade mermelade that we absolutely loved.

The location is absolutely amazing, and the staff were so so so nice. They helped us for hours with recommendations and tickets.

It is difficult to describe all the expierences about visiting a single place in one opinion. Nevertheless, if you are lazy and looking for a simple answer - then yes, I recommend this place. This hotel is run by a wonderful family. They are super nice and helpful to every guest. It's quite cute to watch how next generations run the same place :) The location is great, getting to the port city of Ischia takes a bit of time but is within reach of any taxi or a long walk. In our opinion, Casamiccola is as nice as the other towns on the island, so there is no real need to walk further. The restaurant in the hotel is not the cheapest, but taking into account the size of the portions and the quality of the food, it is not a problem at all. Arguments that the service is unpleasant do not hit us at all. Everyone was always smiling and ready to help. Problems with sometimes poor knowledge of English were not a barrier. Everyone else can have a bad day, especially when it's 35-40 degrees. We highly recommend this place - The owners, Roberta, Lucia or Valerio, have always helped us when needed :) With great pleasure we will come back here both with friends and our children - see you soon! P.S. The only thing we missed a bit was music - play it all day long, regardless of the genre, it will definitely make your stay more pleasant.

The staff was attentive and friendly, always ready to assist with any request. The breakfast was a delightful experience, with a wide variety of delicious options to choose from. Albergo Il Monastero offers accommodation in a fortress on the island of Ischia with panoramic views. The hotel has a terrace and views of the sea, and guests can enjoy a meal at the restaurant. An amazing hotel. Close to the main attractions in Ischia Ponte / Porto but removed from the crowds. The breakfast terrace, rooms and gardens are beautiful - reading in the garden while overlooking the island was one of our favorite experiences. The restaurant is also fantastic - I highly recommend booking a dinner there during your stay.

Room was big, fresh enough, all was in excellent conditions, we don't have any complaints about the room. We are always critical about mattress and pillows, but this time there wasn't any problems to get good rest at night. Location is really fabulous - it was best place on Citara beach for us: not crowded and easy access, available all the day (till 21:00). We purchase additionally air conditioner and the fridge, but price was still very reasonable! We have used pool, thermal pool with hydromassage and jacuzzi. We found it really great place to stay on Ischia.
