NH Gran Hotel Casino de Extremadura is next to the Guadiana River, 10 minutes’ walk from Badajoz city centre and Alcazaba Fortress. It offers free WiFi and houses the Gran Casino de Extremadura. The facilities are excellent, the room was quiet (with a nice view of the Guadiana river) and the location was also very good (close to the bridge that leads to the old town). But the highlight was the amicability and professionalism of its staff, particularly DAVID at the reception who went out of his way to give us a nicer room and much earlier than the standard check-in time. This is the attitude that differentiates certain hotel staff from others, and DAVID's attitude in pleasing the customer is rated at the top of his profession. I congratulate NH Extremadura for the quality of its staff, as represented by DAVID.

Located in Villanueva de la Serena, 37 km from Parque Natural de Cornalvo y Sierra Bermeja, Hotel Suites Moma Centro provides accommodation with a shared lounge, private parking, a terrace and a bar. Excellent central hotel with easy secure parking which will take large vehicles. A lot of thought was gone into the fixtures and fittings of the hotel to give a high quality finish. The rooms are individual with different layouts and bed sizes.

The staff were very nice and accommodating. Gave us a pillow for our dogs. Checking in and out was easy. Beds are comfortable and showers are nice. The rooms have big televisions. We had a nice dinner and a powerful breakfast in the restaurant. 100% recommended if you are passing through Badajoz area and need a place to stay.

We loved the variety of the breakfast and to be able to prepare it to our liking.

Featuring a terrace, Hotel Boutique Adealba Badajoz is located in Badajoz in the Extremadura region, less than 1 km from El Corte Ingles and a 9-minute walk from Badajoz Fortress. 1) Breakfast was really good for EUR 10. It is a to-order type of buffet. They kept giving me food. 2) The room was really nice, the bed was fantastic. It is just a bit weird that the shower is part of the room and not with the toilet. It is ok since I am alone but very weird if I am with another person. 3) The hotel is very pretty, it is a posh old house in the city center.
