Located just 100 metres from the beach in Calella, this modern, boutique hotel offers stylish rooms. Guests have 2 hours free access daily to the hotel’s spa and gym, located 80 metres away. The staff was extremely friendly and made everything possible to make our stay comfortable. I was there for the IRONMAN Barcelona and the location of the hotel couldn't be any better. On race day, they prepared an excellent breakfast for the athletes.

This family-run Hotel Mediterrani Express is located 150 metres from Calella Beach, on the Costa del Maresme. It offers a seasonal outdoor swimming pool and free Wi-Fi in all areas. Very friendly and inviting staff. We stayed for 9 days and had nothing but praise, for the staff. We often slept in. They gave us new towels, and asked if we would be ready half an hour later. We had a big room with a small kitchen, but no hot plates. Nice big fridge, to keep your own food and drinks cold. It's located close to the beach and the bar/club street. Everything is close by in walking distance. Even the emergency room, should you be so unlucky. Barcelona center can be reached by train or bus, in little over an hour.

The hotel have everything you need. The room is very big and comfortable, the bathroom is also very big and nice equiped. The balcony is exceptional and the view from balcony is on the pool area and on the port. We decided to stay in Mataro and to visit Barcelona. The hotel is right on the Mataro port and right on the beach. Along the beach, next to the hotel, there's a lot of restaurants and bars where you can enjoy. The swimming beach is 5 min away from the hotel. The hotel is next to the train station, and you can get to Barcelona ( center of Barcelona) in 40minutes. You are traveling with the train along the beaches, and it's very beautiful trip to see. You can get from the train on every station and you are right on the beach. We also visit and Mataro city and it's very nice Spanish small city. There's a lot of free parking next to the hotel, but sometimes is crowded so you'll need to wait for the place. The hotel also have their private parking. We recommend this hotel and we will be back for sure.
