The soundproof windows and the automatic shutters were a true delight. It was also wonderful to look up at the very top of the roof and see an old cartoon figure sitting there. My apologies, but my wife and I forgot the name of the character. I realize that out of all the wonderful things inside to comment on, it’s unbelievable to be commenting on a small figure, outside, on the rooftop. The hidden message is that the proprietor spared nothing to ensure that the guests were accommodated. I assure you that I will probably be the only guest to make a comment of such least expected item(s).

I had a terrific stay at Landhotel Kahtalmuehle. It was my second time. This time around, it was even more pleasant. The new owners were exceptionally friendly, caring, helpful. I arrived late at night (after midnight, in fact), and the owner himself came to open the door for me. The room was exceptionally clean. The bathroom has a lovely walk-in shower. Everything looked very modern and state-of-the-art. Lovely service and breakfast (omelettes made to your specifications). An all-around wonderful three days.

In the middle of the Spessart, in the town Heigenbrücken, there awaits you Villa Marburg- a place to recover! We absolutely loved how everyone spoiled us with vegan treats and dishes since we're a vegan couple. Everything was delicious, from the abundant breakfast to the lovely dinners, always with several vegan options for starter, main and desert. They even prepared for us a doggy bag for the last day because we had to leave before breakfast time. Thank you so much!

Beautiful modern well appointed rooms with traditional German decor. Superb staff. Late checkin was seamless and they were kind enough to keep the restaurant open for us despite the late arrival. Wonderful breakfast. Great off the beaten path place to land after flying into Frankfurt Airport.

Felt amazing living in an ancient and one of the most photographed buildings in Miltenberg. The Hotel is located adjacent to the church and a stone throw away from the Main river. The suite was beautiful with a quaint covered balcony. Everything about the place felt really old and historic. Breakfast was good. The staff were very nice. Would recommend this place to anyone who would like to stay in Miltenberg.
