Secret Courtyard Resort Hotel er staðsett meðfram ánni Taohua í miðbæ Guilin og státar af húsgarði í kínverskum stíl. I travel a lot and have never had such a good hotel experience. Everything was perfect, from the free pick-up at the train station, where we got water right away, to the amazing atmosphere of the hotel and the luxurious rooms. The owner of the hotel knows how to make his guests feel at home, he helped and advised us with everything, he prepared an excellent breakfast every morning and on the day of departure he also gave us a card to another hotel room so that we could use the bathroom, since check-out was at 14:00 and we left at midnight. At the end of our stay, we also received a gift - excellent attitude, clearly the best accommodation of the entire stay in China. 100% recommended

The Apsara Lodge býður upp á gistingu í Yangshuo með ókeypis WiFi, grillaðstöðu og útisundlaug sem er opin hluta af árinu. I liked everything, the location is spectacular, outside the city center and much more peaceful. The staff is amazing!!! Thanks Maria and team for such a warm stay. They gave me a lot of good recommendations and helped set up the activities everyday. Loved it!

Li River Resort er staðsett á vesturbakka Li-árinnar og býður upp á afslappandi athvarf í kínverskum stíl. Gististaðurinn er með fallegt útsýni yfir Li-ána og Karst-fjöllin. Amazing location and stunning views from the balcony!

Riverside Retreat Hotel er umkringt bambuskógum og sveitabæjum og er með útsýni yfir fallegt vatn Li-árinnar. Það státar af útisundlaug, sólarverönd og glæsilegum veitingastað með fjallaútsýni. The room is large and recently renewed. The bed and pillows were very comfy, the shower had very warm water for the cold days. The staff is very friendly and smiley. There is western and Chinese breakfast, and we wanted a local chicken dish which they cooked for us.

Right opposite Two Rivers and Four Lakes, Guilin Rong Lake Aroma Tea House, formerly Jing Guan Ming Lou Museum Hotel, is located in the city centre. If you are looking to enjoy what Guilin has to offer, do not hesitate to book this hotel. Everything was excellent, and I was made to feel very welcome. The receptionist "Juuga(?)" was most polite, kind hearted and helpful; sending me various locations of spots to go (pagodas, flute reed cave, night markets, famous goose restaurant, lakes / elephant trunk hill) and helping me set up the Yangshuo cruise tour. I would not have enjoyed Guilin as much as I did had I not come to this hotel - I would've been clueless. I also have an extremely cut figure at the moment and am on a ketogenic diet, they prepared breakfasts for me as well to meet my needs, which was included in the price. The room was beautiful, cosy and warm.

Guilin Village Creek Inn er staðsett í Guilin, 1,3 km frá Reed Flute-hellinum og býður upp á gistirými með heilsuræktarstöð, ókeypis einkabílastæði, garð og sameiginlega setustofu. Melody (at the reception) was really helpful and compensated for our inability to speak to mandarin. She organised all the tours for us and was very patient with us. We were upgraded for free and there is free tap water and breakfast included. The hotel is set in a really nice location which is tranquil, though you will need a bike or DiDi to get into town.

The main attractions of Lanshan Wangyue Hotel are the outstanding location in a village not too far from the town of Yangshuo, but with a feeling of old rural China and magnificent unobstructed view of the karst peaks in all directions; and the friendly service by the owners, Mark Ma, Li Wu and Siwei, and their hard-working and helpful staff. Additionally, the rooms are commodious and offer full views-- distant mountains from the front, the village and close mountains on the back side. The beds are new and great for sleeping, plus the rooms have good insulation and are very quiet. The proprietors find out what the guests wish to do, and custom arrange and lead excursions into the surrounding countryside. In an area that has lots of tourists (almost all domestic Chinese), they can take guests on bike trips or hikes to places that no one else visits. Ask them to take you on the half hour climb up to the old Qing Dynasty bandits lair in a cave high above the surrounding countryside, or to one of the ancient villages in the area. So much to see and do in the area, with some of the finest scenery in China.
