The host picked us up at the airport as soon as we walked out the door, and gave us a nice tour of the town before checking us in. The room was simple but nice, and we especially loved the spacious shower with plenty of hot water. The wifi was very fast and reliable (it's Starlink). The air conditioning worked well. There are covered areas outside to relax or have a meal. The location is great, being a few minutes walking from several restaurants, a great supermarket, and the ocean. The breakfast was a tasty array of cereal, yogurt, bread, pastries, coffee, fresh juice, and eggs. The highlight was the staff: everyone was amazingingly friendly and helpful. For example, one night we were eating dinner outside, and were using plastic cups for wine. The owner was walking by and noticed us, and told us, "That won't do for drinking Chilean wine!" and returned a minute later with some proper wine glasses, as well as plates and metal cutlery. We were properly chastised, but we absolutely appreciated it!

Featuring spa facilities, an outdoor swimming pool and a restaurant overlooking the ocean, Nayara Hangaroa is a modern resort that offers wooms with free WiFi. Allt var fantastiskt. Blev välkomnad med en jättefin blomkrans på flygplatsen, när jag väl kom till hotellet fick jag en kall handduk att kyla ner händerna med och en välkomstdrink. Sedan satte jag mig med en från personalen som förklarade hur allt fungerar på hotellet. Vilket var väldigt uppskattat. Frukosten och lunchen var supergoda och jag älskade deras sunset cocktail som ingick varje kväll.

The tasteful decor in tropical style, cleanliness and host's hospitality. Lorena spoke English and was always available whenever we had a question. The place is hidden behind a large gate wrapped in passion vine. The units with separate entrances are concentrated around a paved yard where it's nice to sit in the evening and watch the stars. I loved the thatched roofs! Our room was equipped with a ceiling fan and a fridge, everything was neat and tidy. We did not order breakfast, but it was available upon request. Chez Hiwa is located on a quiet street, 10 minutes from the town centre. Ahu Tahai, famous for its sunsets, is 12-15 min by foot.

Pikera Uri ligger i Hanga Roa, 15 minuters promenad från centrum, 100 meter från det ceremoniella centret Tahai och 800 meter från Pea Beach. It's difficult knowing where to stay in Rapa Nui and I was lucky to have a friend recommend this lodge. Im so glad we went, from the moment they picked us up at the airport, we felt welcomed and cared. It was a very special arrival. Throughout the stay, they were always willing to help, incredibly friendly and caring. It's a family owned lodge and you see the parents and their kids working all together to make it a great place. They provided conversation when we felt like talking and let us do our own thing when we felt like simply relaxing around. The breakfast is cooked by them with love. The fruits are from the trees in their garden and the jams are homemade too. You could feel the love in everything they provided.

Especially the Japanese lady who welcomed us from the beginning throughout the stay was so nice.
