Situated at the foot of the Weissbad Alpstein countryside in Appenzell, Hotel Hof Weissbad features a 24-hour reception services and an extensive spa area. Free Wi-Fi is available. A beautifully located hotel. The staff was all very helpful and extremely nice. Breakfast, as well as dinner, were delicious. The room was spacious and very comfortable. Very comfortable parking lot beneath the hotel with an elevator from there to all floors. Not a cheap hotel but relative to prices in Switzerland very high value for money.

Situated in Appenzell’s historic Landsgemeinde Square, Cafe-Hotel Appenzell offers an elegant restaurant with terrace that serves home-baked cakes and regional specialities. Extremely well kept. Very clean. Helpful and courteous staff. Food was good as well.

We had the large upstairs family room to sleep four. Cold at night, with large comforters. Views of the town and Swiss countryside are amazing. Cows and Cow Bell sounds are everywhere. Food in restaurant was very good.

Offering panoramic views of the Alpstein Massif, Hotel Alpenblick is located in the village of Schwende in the Canton of Appenzell. It offers direct mountain views in all rooms. Perfect location. The surroundings were poster card perfect!
