Showcasing a year-round pool, Maya Beach Hotel offers beachfront accommodation in Placencia Pennisula. Guests can enjoy a meal at the on-site restaurant. Everything was well kept up, clean and tidy. The restaurant has excellent food. All interactions with staff were great, they were super about arranging reservations, snorkeling etc. Very personable.

It's a one minute slow walk to the sea/beach, there's a large grocery across the street and you are in the middle of the village with authentic Garifuna restaurants all around as well as other choices. The host goes above and beyond to help you with anything or any advice you need for your travels. And they are just just overall wonderful people. The value is fantastic if you are able to book directly as some other guests did. If not, it is still a very good value. My single room did not get much natural light. I spent more time indoors than expected because of heavy rain so, if I was there more than a week I would choose one of the brighter rooms. Though during normal rains the fabulous rooftop patio provides good shelter. I was there for six nights and would highly recommend Crash Pad and Adventure Hostel.

Offering an outdoor pool and a seafront restaurant, Mariposa Belize Beach Resort is located right on the beach in Placencia. Staff was amazing ready at any moment to respond to questions and requests. Beautiful location right on the beach, grounds were immaculate. Food was delicious and beautifully presented. Appreciated the complimentary bikes kayaks and paddle boards.

Located in Placencia, Wild Orchid Villas offers self-catering accommodation features free WiFi in all areas and free parking. My friends and I stayed at the 2 bedroom villa with the pool....the property is so beautiful!!! I was worried about the check-in process, but as soon as we arrived, someone was on site to greet us. I think it was the maintenance guy....he was very helpful! The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need, but we did not use it. The villa was spotless, and housekeeping came daily if you needed them too. They even did our laundry for us. The villa is across the street from the beach.....which we had to ourselves. Getting to town was easy too.....we used Wally's Taxi. He was always available to pick us up and drop us off. We had an issue with hot water and as soon as I notified the property manager, she responded right away and maintenance was at the villa shortly after to fix the problem. I really enjoyed my time at the villa!!! I would go back in a heartbeat!

Offering a private beach area and a fitness centre, Belizean Nirvana is located in Placencia. Free Wi-Fi access and BBQ facilities are available. Best location in Placencia. So quite and peaceful. Literally on the beach and short walking distance to bars, restaurant, trips from the pier. The free bicycles and kayaks were great to get about on too. Breakfast was great too. Staff were super helpful and commutative. They also dropped us at the airport on the last day with the free shuttle.

Located at the southern tip of the Placencia Peninsula on the harbor side of Placencia Village, Alan's Paradise Hotel offers a restaurant & bar with free WiFi. Great location and quiet. Free to use bicycles, kayaks. About a 5 minute walk to the Main Street and beach.
