From the time you drive in to the villa resort area you are in Wow mode. The villa's are wonderful, and when you walk up and see the ocean, well, its wow mode again. The rooms were spotless, bathroom shower had great pressure and plenty of hot water. Kitchenette (in our case) very well equipped with the things you need to cook in occasionally. The deck and chairs and hammock and beach chairs etc all great. We felt safe and secure the entire time, and Placencia village and bars and food are close (10 min drive or so), as is the Maya beach area. The owners are both super nice, willing to help you with whatever you need, and gave some great tips on what to do and where to eat. Go to cockscomb jaguar preserve for sure, Tiger Fern trail was super with a waterfall at the end where you could take a dip if you want to cool off after a nice hike in the jungle. We liked Tipsy Tuna for drinks/food with great ambience and service and prices, but many places were quite good. Coco's is great, don't hesitate to stay.

Featuring free WiFi throughout the property, Ranguana Caye Cabanas offers private island accommodation 30 km from Placencia village. The staff treated us like family. They were so wonderful! And the setting was was just unbelievable! We will definitely be going back

Everything about this property was great. super friendly staff, immaculately kept grounds, super clean. far enough from the business of Placencia to be relaxing and quiet, yet close enough to go by bike or rented golf cart.

Offering a private beach area and a fitness centre, Belizean Nirvana is located in Placencia. Free Wi-Fi access and BBQ facilities are available. Rooftop patio was great. Beach immaculate. Staff was beyond amazing. Filtered drinkable tap water on all taps!?! Parking is offsite but super acceptable and safe! The norm in Placencia really!

Maya Beach Hotel is confy and has the type of high standard that is not usual to find in Belize. Beautiful place and far away from Placencia Village.

Placencia Villas is located in the heart of the village of Placencia, within a short walk of restaurants, shops and banks. The beach is within a minute walking distance of the hotel. The staff was wonderful, they did everything they could even with hurricane Ian moving in. The housekeeper was fantastic she even helped me get a stain out of my blouse! I would say that's going out of her way to be nice. Can't wait to go back!

The grocery store, pharmacy and many dining options are in within a few minutes walk. Would book again!!!
