Set in National Park, Mountain Heights Lodge offers six self-contained motel units and four ensuite B&B rooms, BnB rooms welcomes children over the age of 14 and above. Private parking is free. Fantastic and big place to stay. We enjoy local beaches, parks and views. Nice hosts to provide freerange eggs and some food for breakfast. If possible, we will go back to stay more days.

Located just a 30-minute drive from Turoa Ski Area, Ossies Motels and Chalets offers a tranquil retreat. It features a sauna and BBQ facilities. The friendly hosts, John & Sue, were amazing with help and suggestions and offering alternative activities. The free laundry was a blessing. We were located close to town, and to several walks and scenic drives. The map provided of the local area was very helpful.

Situated only 10 minutes’ walk from central Ohakune and with beautiful views of Mt Ruapehu from most rooms, Ohakune Court Motel offers accommodation with an en suite bathroom and a flat-screen cable... Spacious, modern well-appointed unit that provided comfy, warm accommodation on a cold winter's night high up in the mountains. After a good sleep, we were treated to bright sunshine, crisp air and splendid views as we wandered around the town.

Alpine Motel offers warm and comfortable accommodation in central Ohakune. Outstanding new high speed wifi access in every unit. The motel features a Spa Pool, FREE high speed WIFI and SKY TV. Great views of the mountains, central location for off road biking excursions, nice and cozy at night

Tongariro Springs Boutique Suites is located in Tongariro National Park. The room was very comfortable, but could have used a rug or mat at the inside of the doorway to help keep the muck from our shoes coming into the room (it was so rainy while we were there, we weren’t comfortable leaving them outside). Really appreciated the drying room. If we come back to the park, we would probably try to stay here again.

The Hobbit Motorlodge offers a hot tub and free unlimited WiFi. It is a 50-minute drive from the Tongariro Crossing, and the property can arrange for a drop-off service at a charge. due to rain (traveling by motorcycle) and a failed attempt at the river canoe trip, I ended up staying at the Hobbit for way longer than anticipated, but my stay was fantastic and comfortable! Michelle who runs the lodge is a wonderful person and puts alot of effort in to keeping the lodge clean and comfy for guests! I would def recommend staying here if you are coming through Ohakune!

Nestled in the picturesque mountain town of Ohakune, at the foot of Mt Ruapehu, Ruapehu Mountain Motel and Lodge offers travelers accommodation in a variety of room types. Exceptional great place. Staff was beyond excellent. Super location, 2 minutes to superior restaurants.
