Located on 10 acres of gardens, Golfcourse Road Chalets and Lodge with lovely lake, mountain or golf course views. We liked everything. The beds were soft & comfortable, the bathroom is large & beautiful. The kitchenette has a washing machine, which was very useful. The location is quiet & close to town. We had a mountain view which was beautiful. The owners are very welcoming & lovely. My son enjoyed meeting Romeo the horse & feeding him.

Opened in January 2017, the adults only Cromwell Escape is located 3.7 km from Central Otago District Council in Cromwell and only 100 meters from the new Lake Dunstan cycle trail. Beautiful, comfortable and perfectly clean separate house with a lovely yard right on a little lake. The owners were welcoming, friendly and helpful. There is a washing machine and clothes line, a bbq and bikes to borrow. Everything you need for a perfect escape!

We were graciously welcomed and the staff were always lovely. Helped with posting an object, and was on site to insure our comforts. Great location, with an easy walk to old village and golf course.

We received a very warm welcome by the lovely host! The place was great; clean, cosy, comfortable and had all the necessary amenities. Just a short 2 mins drive to the lake front and centre of town. A lovely little motel in a quiet cul-de-sac, conveniently located for exploring the rail trail. The rooms are spacious, well-furnished, and nicely heated. The staff are friendly and considerate. I warmly recommend a stay!

Honestly, the unit was spotless clean, so well furnished, very cosy and confortable ! You have everything you need for a great stay. Owaka offers everything you need, fresh vegges and eggs, 4 square, pub, café and food truck. In the middle of my favorite spots in the Caitlins ! I wish I could have spend more than the one night !
