Clean, modern, very comfortable, quiet, and friendly staff who went out of their way to make our stay as easy as possible after our plane was delayed and we arrived late.

We did not eat breakfast. Location was ok but a bit of a walk for restaurants, pubs, or entertainment. Clean. The spa was wonderful. Needed after a couple of rough travel days. Receptionist was very pleasant and informative. Parking was easy. Easy access both in and out

With free WiFi, this 4-star motel offers luggage storage space. Certain rooms at the property include a balcony with a mountain view. We were given a free upgrade to an access room on the ground floor. Huge rooms and very well appointed. Bathroom had spa bath. Kitchen had everything and a full sized fridge. Beds were super comfy and I even liked the pillows :) Great location for walking along the river or up to the "Centre of NZ" as well as several other walks. 5 minutes to Countdown. Didn't actually walk into the city centre, but I know it was close as was the Suter Gallery and Queens Gardens. Fabulous hotel, great location.
