Celtic Motel is nestled in amongst the sunny Horowhenua township of Foxton, giving it a hint of 'country' and ensuring it is very peaceful and quiet, yet it is conveniently situated just 400m off SH... They were very accommodating re our late arrival and checking in was easy. A very quiet peaceful location with plenty of parking space - we were towing a trailer. Exceptional cleanliness.

Just 3 minutes’ drive from The Square in Palmerston North, Drovers Motor Inn offers self-contained accommodation with flat-screen satellite TV, a DVD player and an iPod docking station. Really impressed with the overall experience. Our 1 bedroom apartment was like a home away from home. A good size, well appointed, modern, quiet and exceptionally clean. I would recommend to anyone needing accommodation at that end of town.

Siena Motor Lodge is located in central Wanganui, a 3-minute drive from Wanganui Regional Museum. It offers free on-site parking, free Wi-Fi access, and a complimentary goodies/fruit bowl on arrival. Everything we needed for our stay, along with good quality toiletries and even a small bottle of milk provided for our morning coffee!!

Situated only 4 minutes’ walk from central Ohakune, The Central Motel & Lodge features an outdoor hot tub. All studios and apartments include self-catering facilities and electric blankets. Apparently the rooms were renovated 5 years ago but they are still spotless. Real quality in the kitchen, wonderful comfortable bed and the first bathroom on our trip that didn’t have some sort of issue, in fact it was super. Great location, super friendly and helpful hosts , I doubt there’s much better comfort and value in Okakune .

City Corporate Inn offers elegant self-catering units with double spa baths and large flat-screen TVs. Offering free parking, it is less than a 5-minute drive from Palmerston North’s city centre. Breakfast up to standard and same with other things. Good people to maintain the motel

Aubyn Court Spa Motel is located opposite The Plaza shopping centre and a supermarket and offers self-contained accommodation with a private spa pool in most rooms and a flat-screen TV with 50+... Room size is awesome! Spa incredible

Alpha Motor Inn is a ten-minute walk to The Square & supermarkets and a ten-minute drive to Arena Manawatu & Airport. Alpha Motor Inn offers comfortable accommodation with smart TVs and free WIFI. Everything…so clean and good service. Was so happy to stayed at the hotel Alpha. Didn’t expect to get that good service at that hotel.

Situated in the centre of Wanganui, Burwood Motel offers spacious studio units. Free WiFi is provided. Room was very nice n clean. Beds are all good. Will go back if we plan to go to Wanganui
