My room was facing the harbour and my timing was perfect as aI saw the cruise ship come and go. The hotel is very close to the town central so a very convenient location. Breakfast foods was freshly prepared. Throughout the hotel the staff were friendly and eager to please the guest. I particularly liked the extra touch of hats for the guest, the delivery of a fruit basket upon arrival and the hand deliver of an afternoon "cookie pack". I am a very satisfied customer!

The 4-star Octant Furnas is located in São Miguel Island, in Vale das Furnas, site of the largest concentration of thermal waters in Europe. One of the best spa hotels in Europe I can think of, it has unhurried, elegant and stress-free ambiance where you can drop in at the 24 hour open pools rich with iron minerals and the stunning volcanic-inspired spa. One of the best meals we’ve had on the Sao Miguel and staff that goes beyond on service without being obstructive. Had the Terrace Double room and very happy about it

The staff was personable, friendly and attentive. The manager, Joao ,Sandra and the front desk reception was great! Always helpful, friendly and informative. Enjoyed talking with him and the rest of the staff. Restaurant staff, Flavia, Marlin, Benjamin and of course William the chef did an amazing job! Food was out of this world. Flavors to die for! Loved our stay and can’t wait to return. Thank WHITE 😍

Whales Bay Hotel Apartments is located in the town of Capelas, São Miguel within a 10-minute drive from Ponta Delgada. The property is 12 km from the airport and 300 meters from natural pools. Great stay in Sao Miguel, Azores The property is very well equipped, the apartment is large overlooking the sea from one side and the garden from the other side. Internet speed was great too. Overall area is very beautiful We recommend to enjoy the products from the bakery for the breakfast, they are very fresh and tasty. We would love to come back. Sunsets and sunrises from here are fabulous.
