Jag valde detta hotel så att vi kunde finna oss i stadens historiska anda. Har du barn ska du definitivt bo här. Ett plus att hotellet ligger i en fin fritidspark (Érsekkert). Lokaler och service påminner om gamla riddartider. Rymliga fina rum med sagolika dekorationer. Här har man inte missat en detalj. Personalen bar traditonella skjortor från riddartider, maten serverades på träbrickor, inga servetter! Drinkar från lerkrukaliknande muggar. Kul upplevelse var det! Promenadavstånd från det mesta. Parkering för rabatterat pris finns på närliggande hotel.

Petrényborpanó ligger 2 km från Egerszalóks medicinska och termiska bad. Här anordnas vinprovningar och en stor trädgård. Privat parkering finns vid hotellet. We booked 1 night only, but everything was ok. The breakfast was nice and there was a nice restaurant within a walking distance, there we had a dinner. The room was nice and clean, I would recommend to anyone!

Offering on-site swimming pools, hot tub and saunas, Imola Hotel Platán is situated in the centre of Eger. It features a restaurant serving regional dégustation menus and a garden with terrace. The staff at the hotel is very caring and helpful. Everyone is working to make your stay as comfortable as they can (and I do mean everyone, from the receptionists, waitresses, the sommelier, the cooks in the kitchen). And they do it in a heartfelt, sincere, kind way. The wellness had everything we needed (sauna, jacuzzi, hot and cold water pools, solar beach room, hay therapy and salt room). Location is top-notch as the Eger spa is within walking distance and one can simply walk from the hotel directly to the spa. We really enjoyed breakfast (fresh bakery products and a good selection of options) and dinner (modern, well thought-out meals, very tasty I'd even say gourmet :) ). At last but not least, I'd give a shout to the wonderful musician who plays during dinner time, we liked it very much :).

Surrounded by woodland, this extensive resort offers a spa with Finnish saunas, a coveredable open-air swimming pool, an indoor jakuzzi, a squash court, and free Wi-Fi. We booked this hotel as part of our road trip in Hungary and were very happy with our choice. The communication with the hotel was great and smooth. I asked them to prepare a bottle of wine as a birthday gift and they did great with that including adding a note. Both breakfast and dinner were great, the wellness area was also great and there were many other activities at the hotel which made our stay more fun. The room was spacious and the location was also nice, very close to the natural park. Overall it was a great stay.

Our kids miss the huge bathtub too where we spend most of the time in the evening and the location was really good because we can also while watch the TV situated in the living room
