Great hotel on Rapanui - rooms are all individual cabins so very quiet and relaxing. Cabins are cleaned every day which is lovely to come back to after a long day of touring. Luis was so helpful and always available for questions and to assist. It’s a little out of town; about a 5/10 minute drive or half an hour walk.

She was always responsive to my emails and questions, picked us up from the airport and toured us around town to help us locate key sights, and went the extra mile to meet our every need - she even opened her home for me to access the internet for a business meeting. She checked in each day and offered suggestions for whatever we needed or wanted to do. The location is the other great attribute - we were walking distance from just about everything, other than some of the distant ruins. Great restaurants and sights, including the perfect sunset location are 5 to 10 minutes walking distance. The room was clean and so comfortable. A great kitchen with the supplies we needed for coffee, tea and simple meals. Loved the upstairs loft bedroom and balcony for morning coffee. Truly a special place and highly recommend it - would stay there again in a minute!

The lodge’s amenities and its serene setting contributed to a feeling of exclusive privacy and comfort. For anyone visiting Rapa Nui, I cannot recommend Kona Koa Lodge enough. Cabañas Anavai Rapa Nui offers accommodation in Hanga Roa, Easter Island. Free WiFi is available and on-site parking is provided. Bungalows are fully-equipped for your stay. The location is stunning! We had beautiful views of the ocean, sunset, and Moai from our cabana. It was an easy walk into town. Miti picked us up from the airport, was our tour guide, and helped us arrange our itinerary. From the moment we met her, it felt like we had a close personal friend on the island!!
