a terrific walk from the city centre, lots to look at along the way or simply find a pretty café and "people watch". the gardens of the palace are open to the public. there is a small challenge to discover al the key statues in the gardens.

It was very interesting to see the palace also inside and hear about it's history and current situation. I enjoyed visiting a palace that is still in use (that's why you can visit only during few weeks in summer)

Good location in walking distance from the city center and right next to the Royal Palace.
The room was quiet and clean, with modern furniture and bath. I also also liked the small balcony.
Åpent bakery Is just five minutes walking away and fantastic.
Everything!
- Just like in the pictures
- Comfortable bed
- Quiet and clean
- Very close to the city centre (around 10 minutes walk to the Royal Palace) and good transportation links
- Well equipped kitchen for a single traveller, big fridge plus as much tea and coffee as you want
- Washing machine and hair dryer come handy and enough towels are provided
- Adjustable lights in the living room
- Floor heating worked as expected
- TV worked fine for me (used my Fire TV stick with the TV remote as I forgot to take mine)
- Wifi worked fine for me
The most variable and rich breaksfast we have ever met (all kinds of food for all tastes).
The hotel's location is amazing - just next to the Royal Palace (and Slottsparken).
Spacious and clean room, nicely decorated, with a big double bed and very quiet. The bathroom had a proper shower (unlike some other hotels we stayed at in Norway that were more expensive). The receptionists were very welcoming and helpful. The breakfast buffet was impressive, with a lot of choice and good quality ingredients, it was the best we had in Norway. The location is quite central as well, only a few minutes away from the Royal Palace and about 10 minutes walk to the harbour. We would stay there again if we go back to Oslo.
Hotel directly in te city center, near to the royal palace, underground station in the same building, train station Oslo S about 15 minutes walk straight ahead.
Excellent location and an absolutely beautiful hotel building. The hotel is located in one of the best neighbourhoods in Oslo, and is within walking distance from great parks, shops, and cultural centres like the Royal Palace. The hotel exceeded my expectations.
Staff was fantastic, the breakfast at the hotel was amazing quality, and the location is absolutely perfect being right next to the Royal Palace and 5 minutes walk from the National Theatre metro which has access to every line
The hotel is in a great location, a few mins walk from Oslo S station, the Opera House, water-front and the Royal Palace. Checking in and out was super easy, and some of the local cafes offered discounts to hotel residents. The beds were comfortable, and everything was spotlessly clean. I also really appreciated the standard check-out time of 12.00.
