Room was basic but comfortable, as you would expect most of the way up the mountain. The location was fantastic - we were so close to the Nemrut summit that we went up at sunset and then again the following morning. Murat, who owns the place, was a good host and breakfast and dinner were both also provided for a small cost (including vegetarian).
An excellent, traditional, clean hotel with very helpful, hospitable and polite staff. Breakfast was excellent with fresh products and plentiful. The room was big and the towels were changed every day. The second day we were also offered a bigger room without having asked for, which was a nice surprise. The hotel also offers free parking near by. The hotel is in the old town and all of the buildings gives you the impression that you live in the past. Most of them, as Kaliruha, have inner yards where you can read or just relax.
We were contacted a few times by teh hotel before we arrived, giving advice about how to find the place (easy) and about the weather conditions up on the mountain. Ahmet, the owner's son was a great host and he got his friend Ahmet to guide us up to the mountain in the snow, which we would not have managed without him. They made a tasty dinner of chicken and salad in the evening and rovided us with a hearty breakfast in the morning.
Hussain the manager was incredible, personable and made us a lovely dinner and breakfast. Unfortunately due to the terrible, weather and earthquake recovery. The electricity went out. The rooms were very cold. The bathrooms were smelly. The lo ation was fabulous. I wonder if it would be better in better weather
Very lovely, cozy rooms, each with different decor. Very pretty inner courtyard to sit and drink tea. Very friendly staff. Good air conditioning in rooms. Quiet location but still right in the middle of the old town within close walking distance of the sights, restaurants and shops. Very tasty breakfast with excellent flatbread
Just 15-20mins drive from Mount Nemrut site. Best base if you plan to do a sunrise visit. Comfortable room and nice host. You can also add dinner and breakfast upon arrival.
Generous sized room, comfortable, helpful staff, on site parking, recommendations for dinner and map to find our way round city.
Great location, the owner (Murat) was helpful without being pushy. Murat made contact as soon as we booked and offered us pick up from airport, guiding, dinner and breakfast. Driving our own car we were only interested in dinner and breakfast which was really good - chicken rice and salad followed by melon and figs from the garden (like nectar!) and breakfast was a great Turkish breakfast. Would highly recommend this place - quiet, parking on site and friendly owner/staff.
The pension is right at the base of Mt. Nemrut and thus easy to reach after sunset. Murat, the owner and his son Mohamed were among the finest people we met in Turkey - very grounded, helpful and always attentive to guests' needs. Murat picked us from the Adiyaman airport, took us around Mt. Nemrut and other sights, prepared us a lovely dinner and dropped us at the airport the next morning - all for an extremely reasonable price. Highly recommended to people looking to visit Mt. Nemrut.
This a pension in a local village. Dont expect a flashy Hotel ! With that in mind it was fantastic. Rustic charm, with a fantastic helpful and friendly owner and family, and a big room with all the facilities you need. On site car park and a 30 minute drive to the top of Mt Nehmrut. We had dinner and breakfast - BBQ chicken and the usual salads, rice and potatoes ... and it was fantastic value as well as very good. Highly recommended and absolutley worth the money !
