Hotel Amaru Colonial has e perfect location - located in the old city, 5 minutes walk to Plaza de Las Armas, but still away from the noise and the crowd. Our room had a nice balcony overlooking Cusco. The breakfast was super good and tasty. WiFi was good. The receptionist had to restart our modem once, as we were not getting signal. You have to let the hot water run a bit before jumping into the shower. There was a heating in the night. Hotel sent us a taxi to the airport to pick us up - 30 soles and then the same when we were leaving. The hotel gardens are gorgeous. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Must visit the vegetarian place 2 min walk from the Hotel called Green Point.

Te double and twin rooms have a private bathroom, other rooms have shared bathrooms. The location was the greatest. Really central, but quiet. The owners were so caring, helped me a lot; they booked me a transport from Cusco airport, special breakfast options., heated my take away supper..) The place felt home like; local art on the wall in happy colours, less like a formal hotell. The breakfast was delicious; plentyful and the extra of a quinoa porridge at no extra cost. It was so clean, I felt comfortable walking in the common areas with just socks on-good after a long day. At one moment I was out of toilet paper, more came within minutes.
