Het door een familie beheerde Landgasthaus Neues Bild, Eggerstanden is gevestigd in een historisch gebouw, op 10 minuten rijden van het centrum van Appenzell. Het wordt omgeven door heuvels en bergen.... Better than expected. Trails nearby. Easy parking. Room was very comfortable and updated. During the summer, it was nice to have a fan in the room. We had a great dinner on one night. The host and staff were all very friendly and helpful. We would gladly stay here again.

Het Adler Hotel ligt naast het autovrije centrum van Appenzell en is gevestigd in een prachtig traditioneel Appenzeller gebouw. very quaint hotel. all staff were super friendly, the food at the on-site restaurant was very good. Rooms were very comfortable and spotless

Het gezinsvriendelijke Gasthaus Krone is rustig gelegen, vlak naast de bushalte in Schellenberg. Het hotel beschikt over een eigen zwembad dat direct toegankelijk is vanuit de kamers. This was the cleanest room I have ever stayed in. I am very picky about cleanliness when staying anywhere, especially when it comes to the bathroom. You can tell the host takes extreme pride in the property and everything was in great condition. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. Loved the host also!

Hotel Gasthof Löwen dateert uit 1380 en ligt te midden van de wijngaarden. Het 4-sterrenhotel bevindt zich in Vaduz, de hoofdstad van Liechtenstein. Het centrum ligt op slechts 3 minuten lopen. My husband had absolutely incredible impressions from his stay at Gasthof Löwen Hotel. In this a remarkable ancient building where he felt a welcomed and dear guest. Staff and management are impeccably polite, friendly, doing their best to serve client’s needs and special requests. They are so humble and caring while doing their job brilliantly! Their business is not about making money- this is just a part of the story, just a fair compensation for the great service. Their business is about making their guests feeling happy, welcomed, calm and safe. Whatever issue one may have - it immediately is treated properly and respectfully. Besides this, the food is fresh and tasty. Some days my husband was the only guest at the hotel - and the breakfast was served just for him! Rooms and linen are very clean, equipment is stylised as ancient but is modern and works well. It’s quiet at night- great soundproof windows. Beautiful furniture and very comfortable beds! Before that choice we had a very negative experience with the other hotel network in the region because their business was more about real estate management not people. And Gasthof Lowen Hotel is about people- staff and their welcomed guests! Thank you so much for our great days with you!

Waldgasthaus Lehmen vindt u in een prachtig stuk ongerepte natuur, op 4 km van Weissbad in het kanton Appenzell. Het biedt kamers in Alpenstijl en een charmant restaurant met terras. We stayed 2 nights beginning of June. If you like traditional places, you should visit Waldgasthaus Lehmen. You would be surrounded by natural forest with a view on Appenzell Alps. One of the most common sound during the day is various bells on cow necks. We were lucky to see how Appenzell farmers bring their cows to the mountains. The farmers have very beautiful cloths! On Saturday we saw a group of farmers, who came in their traditional dresses to Lehmen restaurant and had a few hours of singing and enjoying food. The restaurant is very good, if you like Swiss food. You must be hiking in that region, otherwise food might be too heavy. I had pork steak, pork schnitzel and beef steak with noodles and mushrooms. All dishes were very tasty. You have to try local beer! And Lehmen whisky! Highly recommended! Very nice! Service is impeccable, fast and attentive. All personnel is very friendly. Breakfast is wonderful! I would prefer, if it started at 7 instead of 8… Our room 17 was great, soft pillows, comfy beds, bath, simple but cozy design. The hotel has a playground for kids. Parking is huge.

Landgasthof Hölzlisberg in Eichberg heeft een drempelvrij restaurant dat seizoensgebonden Zwitserse en internationale gerechten serveert. De bushalte Eichberg ligt op 1 km afstand. I like the property and the host and the location up hill ,beautiful. Feel home 🏡. It’s really traditional classics hotel and the owner so kind to us . She willing to open the restaurant just for us as we can’t go outside because of the weather to cold. It’s was last minute to order food and she really helped us. The day check out she did send us to train station 🚉. Thank you 🙏 so much to her kindness and hospitality. Definitely I will comeback again . Will recommend to others.

Het Loosmühle ligt op 1,5 km van de skilift Schwende en op 3 km van de skilift Ebenalp. Het beschikt over een eigen bakkerij, een snackbar en een café. Very nice, spacious, clean room. Very friendly and helpful staff. Even when my travel plans changed somewhat due to the weather, the owner was nothing but friendly and helpful. Maximum number of stars!
