The owners are a family of true values. They are super friendly and make your stay so special. The food that we were served was the best that we have eaten in our 3 weeks of traveling in Japan. As well as being very tasty they were keen to help you understand what we were eating and traditions behind it. It is just opposite the ferry terminal. Once the tourists had left the island we could wander the streets in peace and quiet and see the shrine beautifully lit at night. We would highly recommend staying g the night here rather than a day trip from Hiroshima.

Conveniently situated in the centre of Kyoto, 京ﾉ家 五条西洞院 provides free WiFi throughout the property and a garden. This house was extremely clean, comfortable, and in a quiet and safe area close to the train station. It is only a 2 min walk to a grocery store and 3 min walk to Family Mart. Hori, the owner, was the best! She provided everything that we needed and was very responsive prior and during our stay. The house has 4 toilets, 2 showers, and a washing machine with drying function. The house is very well taken care of. Everythjng is new and worked perfectly. Thank you, Hori!!!
