Very comfortable and in an annex to the pub so quiet in the evening even when the pub is busy. The breakfast was very nice and the staff welcoming. Just 4 miles from Bath, The Wheatsheaf Combe Hay is a West Country inn dating back to the 1500s. Perfect breakfast. Selective sourcing I would guess. Freshly prepared, caring and charming service reflecting good traditional standards.

Located 8 miles from the historic cities of Bath and Bristol, The Carpenters Arms is in the tranquil and scenic hamlet of Stanton Wick, near the village of Pensford, in the heart of the Chew Valley... Dinner, room and breakfast were all excellent. Good communication with the establishment prior to arrival - eg recommendation for dinner reservation.

Wheelwrights Arms Country Inn & Pub is situated in the peaceful village of Monkton Combe, surrounded by picturesque hills and valleys. The room was charming and clean. Parking easily accessible on the premises. The restaurant was quaint with great food and reasonably priced. Staff was friendly and helpful.
